Alright. So. *Begins pacing like a detective trying to crack a tough case* As of today, all of my library holds have been active for two weeks and one day exactly. And at my local library, if someone has a hold on a book you have checked out, you cannot renew it, and the due date will always be two weeks from the day you checked it out, or, if you've already renewed the checkout, two weeks from the day it was renewed. Now. *Taps my forehead knowingly with my pointer finger and then points at you* For this particular book, I've been first in line in the holds list for the entire period that I've had it on hold. Even if the person who has this book checked it out on the same day that I placed the hold—which I find unlikely but still possible—it would be due by now, and I should be able to pick it up. But as you can see, my hold is still not available. Which means, as you may have been able to surmise, *Slams fist on table* That SOMEONE hasn't turned their library book in on time.
