TW BLOOD
They're freaks
I'm just gonna start slowly tossing all the clownfish art I've drawn in the past year ish into the void in case someone will like it :D
Clownfish dancing at a ball based on a fic my friend wrote for me :D
I may or may not be very insane about your trsmp superhero au on Ao3
I need to hear more about everyone from the Kingdom of Fools. Stuff like their powers and the intricacies of them. Their fighting styles, how each person treats combat, as well as if/how it differs when they're fighting alone or with a team.
I know we got to see a bit of them all fighting/working together in the prequel fic but I desperately want to see a full fledged fight scene with all of them. I wanna know how they work together as a team and if they have any sick ass combo moves they do.
God I love superhero aus so much I'm normal i promise
Okay, this got me so excited, so this is really long. I love talking about my sillies. I am also including Zam in this list because she joins the team later on. Owen has been omitted because he isn't as fleshed out.
Some of this is just straight up copy pasted from my master doc, so you get the official power descriptions and the little names I have for them.
Clown left a really insightful book :D
Etoiles: Foolish, you look kinda good in this armor, that's pretty rare. Because likeβ
Foolish: Huh π§ββοΈ
Etoiles: You're- you're the type of person who's not looking good in video games, and you look good only in real life.
Sneeg: [VINE BOOM]
Foolish: WHOA??? Whoa- thanks sorta...? Maybe...?
Phil: Dude... [Laughs]
Sneeg: Alright, I gotta go, I gotta- I'm getting out of here.
Foolish: No, I'llβ You know, I'll take that as a compliment, I guess.
I'm watching Foolish's VOD from earlier and the concept that he made a server to pretty much just let his viewers build on and then Clown decided to log on and start slaughtering them by the literal hundreds for no reason is so fucking funny to me. It's such a pretty server with sprawling builds and then Foolish logs on today and his viewers are begging him to save them because 400 people have died. His server has just become Clown's enrichment as he gets to simulate pillaging an entire civilization and in peak Foolish fashion he gives some aid to his people but doesn't want to interfere too much and just goes "What can you do? Β―\_(γ)_/Β― " as more people die Like it really is just the most Foolish server to be filled with talented builders and be relatively normal but also there is a guy who just wanders around killing everyone in sight and you just have to live with that
I miss doozerville so much my shining star
You guys know what Iβm talking about.
I really hope Foolish and Tubbo do another war event like they said. They're both made to be gods who send mortals to war against each other for their amusement. It suites them so well. The fact that they agreed on sacrificing people to bring Ros back to life (against her wishes) just really felt perfect. Tubbo ended up killing an extra person without thinking and Foolish was happy to settle for two free villagers. I hope they get worse and abuse their powers more next time
Do you have any advice for a character who has a sort of sacrificial lamb complex? A savior complex but not as in a hero to save the day, but as in they don't believe they deserve to save themselves?
How to Write a Sacrificial Character
Backstory and Motivation
Traumatic Past:Β Explore the characterβs history. Perhaps theyβve experienced abandonment, betrayal, or loss, leading them to internalize the belief that their worth is tied to suffering for others.
Family Expectations:Β They may come from a family that emphasizes self-sacrifice or has a history of martyrdom, teaching them that their own needs are secondary to others.
Guilt and Responsibility:Β The character might feel an overwhelming sense of guilt for past failures, believing that they owe it to others to endure hardship or take on burdens.
Internal Conflict
Self-Worth Issues:Β Illustrate their struggle with self-worth. They might dismiss compliments or feel undeserving of happiness, using phrases like βI donβt deserve thisβ or βI have to earn my place.β
Desire for Connection:Β While they may push others away, they also yearn for connection and love, creating an internal tug-of-war between wanting to be saved and believing they are unworthy of it.
Sacrificial Actions
Small Acts of Sacrifice:Β Show them making small sacrifices for friends or loved ones, like skipping meals or taking on additional work, which reinforces their belief that they should suffer for othersβ well-being.
Dramatic Moments:Β Create pivotal scenes where they are put in a position to sacrifice themselves for someone elseβphysically or emotionally. This can highlight their motivations and lead to significant character development.
Interactions with Others
Supportive Characters:Β Introduce characters who try to save or help them, but the sacrificial character resists, believing their problems arenβt worth the effort. This can create tension and deepen their internal struggle.
Small Acts of Kindness:Β Have moments where others go out of their way to help them, reinforcing that they are worthy of care and support. This can include simple gestures, affirmations, or sacrifices made on their behalf.
Conflict with a Mentor or Friend:Β A mentor figure might challenge this belief, encouraging them to see their value and fight for themselves, leading to moments of growth and resistance.
Gradual Change
Moments of Clarity:Β Show them having fleeting moments of realization where they understand their self-worth, possibly triggered by a significant event or dialogue with another character.
Catalyst for Change:Β Introduce a scenario where they must choose between self-sacrifice and self-preservation, forcing them to confront their beliefs head-on.
Life-Altering Experience:Β Put the character in a situation that forces them to confront their fears, such as a near-death experience or a pivotal choice between saving themselves or others. This moment can act as a wake-up call to their worth.
Acts of Courage:Β Have them step up in a crisis, leading to a moment where they save someone else and realize their capability and value. This can help them see that they have something to offer.
Turning Point:Β Create a climactic moment where the character realizes they deserve to save themselves, possibly triggered by witnessing someone else sacrifice themselves for them, prompting a realization of their worth.
Final Confrontation:Β In the final confrontation (with a villain or personal demon), let them stand up for themselves, verbalizing their worth and challenging the beliefs that have held them back.
Symbolism and Themes
Recurring Motifs:Β Use symbols that represent sacrifice and self-worth, like broken mirrors (self-perception) or shadows (their past). These can help reinforce their internal struggles visually throughout the narrative.
Redemption Arc:Β If they ultimately find a way to save themselves or allow others to save them, showcase this as a powerful moment of growth, suggesting that self-worth and love are intertwined.
Emotional Depth
Show Vulnerability:Β Allow the character to express their fears and doubts, whether through dialogue, journaling, or introspection, making their internal battles relatable and poignant.
Balance with Humor:Β If appropriate for your story, consider moments of humor or lightness to juxtapose their darker thoughts, showing that they are more than their complex.

Beginners Guide to Descriptive Sentences
Hi writers.
Iβm Rin T, and in this post Iβm excited to share with you a detailed guide on how to craft vivid descriptions and descriptive sentences for your writing. Iβve long believed that descriptive writing is the magic that turns ordinary text into an immersive experience. When done well, every sentence acts like a brushstroke that paints a scene in the readerβs mind.
ββββββββββββββββββββββββββββ Why Descriptive Writing Matters ββββββββββββββββββββββββββββ
I have seen how powerful descriptions can engage readers and establish a strong connection with the narrative. Descriptive writing is not simply about decorating your work; it is about building an atmosphere that transports your reader to a world. your world.
When you write descriptions, remember:
You are setting the tone.
You are building a world.
You are evoking emotions.
You are inviting your readers to experience your story with all their senses.
ββββββββββββββββββββββββββββ Step-by-Step: Crafting Vivid Descriptions ββββββββββββββββββββββββββββ
Below are my personal tips and tricks to help you build detailed and captivating descriptions:
Begin With the Senses
Description does not solely depend on what the eyes can see. Consider sound, smell, taste, and touch. For instance, instead of writing βThe witchβs hut was eerie,β try elaborating: βThe witchβs hut exuded an eerie aura. The creaking timber and distant echoes of whispering winds mingled with the pungent aroma of burnt sage and mysterious herbs.β In this way, you help the reader not only see the scene but also feel it.
Choose Precise and Evocative Language
Precision in language is vital. Replace generic adjectives with specific details to boost clarity and imagery. Rather than βThe forest was dark,β consider: βThe forest was a labyrinth of shadowed boughs and muted undergrowth, where the light barely touched the spindly branches, and every step unveiled whispers of ancient spells.β Specific details create tangible images that stay with readers.
Show, Donβt Just Tell
A common mistake is to βtellβ the reader how to feel, rather than βshowingβ it through context and detail. Instead of writing βIt was a spooky night,β immerse your reader: βUnder a pallid crescent moon, the night unfurled like a canvas of foreboding whispers; broken branches and rustling leaves narrated the secrets of a long-forgotten curse.β By showing the elements, you invite the reader to experience the fear and mystery firsthand. (You don't need to be as dramatic as my examples, but this is simply for inspiration)
Use Figurative Language Thoughtfully
Metaphors, similes, and other figures of speech lend an artistic flair to your descriptions. When writing about a scene in a magical world, you might say: βHer eyes shone like twin beacons of moonlit silver, cutting through the gloom as if to part the veil of night itself.β Such comparisons evoke emotions and deepen the readerβs connection with the scene. However, be cautious not to overdo it; a little figurative language can go a long way.
Strike a Balance Between Details and Pacing
While elaborate descriptions are alluring, too many details can weigh down your narrative. Consider introducing the broader scene first and then focusing on key elements that define the mood. For instance, start with an overview: βThe village lay nestled between ancient stone arches and mist-covered hills.β Then, zoom into details: βA solitary, ivy-clad tower sent spiraling tendrils of mist into the twilight, as if guarding secrets of a long-lost incantation.β This technique creates a rhythm, drawing readers in gradually.
ββββββββββββββββββββββββββββ Practical Exercises to Enhance Your Descriptive Writing ββββββββββββββββββββββββββββ
To help you practice these techniques, try the following exercises:
Sensory Detail Drill: Select a familiar scene from your fantasy world (for example, a witchβs secluded garden). Write a short paragraph focusing on each of the five senses. What do you taste as you bite into a magical fruit? What sounds resonate in the quiet of the enchanted night? This drill helps you to avoid flat descriptions and encourages you to integrate sensory experiences.
Revision and Refinement: Take a simple sentence like βThe night was cold,β and transform it using the advice above. Rework it into something like, βThe night was a canvas of shimmering frost and darkness, where every breath of the wind carried a hint of winterβs sorrow.β Compare the two, and notice how minor adjustments can dramatically heighten the mood.
Peer Review Sessions: Sharing your work can offer invaluable insights. Exchange your descriptions with fellow writers and ask for focused feedback, Does the description evoke the intended emotion? Does it deliver a clear image? Use these sessions as opportunities to improve and refine your craft.
ββββββββββββββββββββββββββββ Common Pitfalls and How to Avoid Them ββββββββββββββββββββββββββββ
Through my years of writing, I've learned that even the most passionate writers can stumble. Here are some pitfalls to watch out for:
Overloading With Adjectives: While itβs tempting to create elaborate descriptions, too many adjectives and adverbs can distract rather than enhance. Aim for clarity and purpose in every word. Instead of βa very dark, spooky, frightening forest filled with creepy sounds,β try βa forest shrouded in ominous silence, where every rustle hinted at unseen mysteries.β
Falling Into ClichΓ©s: Familiar images can sometimes render your work predictable. Try to avoid worn phrases. Instead of βas dark as night,β imagine βas impenetrable as the void that separates worlds.β Unique expressions capture attention and create lasting impressions.
Neglecting the Flow: Descriptions are vital, but the narrative must continue to drive forward. Check that your detailed passages serve to enhance the storyline rather than bog it down. Ask yourself: Does this description bring the reader closer to the action, or does it detract from the momentum of the narrative?
ββββββββββββββββββββββββββββ Advanced Techniques for the Aspiring Writer ββββββββββββββββββββββββββββ
Once youβre comfortable with the basics, consider these advanced methods to elevate your descriptions into artful prose:
Integrate Descriptions Seamlessly: Instead of isolating your descriptions, weave them into dialogue and action. For example, as a witch brews her potion, you might describe the bubbling cauldron and swirling mists as part of her incantation, not just as a standalone scene. βAs she whispered the ancient words, the cauldron responded, its surface rippling like a dark mirror reflecting centuries of secrets.β
Reflect Character Perspectives: Let your charactersβ emotions color the scene. If a character fears a looming threat, their perception will add a layer of tension to the environment. βI entered the dim corridor with trepidation, my heart pounding as the flickering torchlight revealed spectral figures dancing along the walls.β This technique makes the description both situational and personal.
Use Rhythm: The cadence of your sentences can mirror the pace of your narrative. In high-tension moments, short, abrupt sentences heighten the urgency. Conversely, in serene scenes, longer, flowing sentences can create a tranquil atmosphere. Experiment with sentence structure until you find a balance that suits both your style and the mood you wish to convey.
ββββββββββββββββββββββββββββ Final Thoughts and Encouragement ββββββββββββββββββββββββββββ
your narrative is your unique creation. you too will find your distinctive voice. I encourage you to keep experimenting with different techniques until your descriptions feel both natural and mesmerizing. Write freely, revise diligently, and most importantly, let your creative spirit shine through every line.
Thank you for joining me. I hope these tips can help you.

The thing is about Foolish, is that he puts his whole heart into everything. Commissioned to build a giant mansion? He'll go crazy trying to make sure the entire roof is perfect and missing blocks are replaced. Wants to add a chandelier to his fancy ceiling? He'll spend three hours losing his mind figuring out how to proportion it so it looks the absolute best he can. Roleplay an immortal suddenly discovering death? He'll tear your heart out with his questions and confusion. BadBoyHalo needs someone to bounce his craziness off? Sure, let's be the straight man to Bad's 'give me an inch and I'll take several miles' and carry on a country-building arc for a year. Oh, the server god wants a giant statue of himself and he'll give powers? Why not spend three months agonizing over freehanding some wings in survival. Thrown into a new group of people in this valorant 5-stack? He'll be the one with the weird opener that gets everyone talking and enjoying themselves. Given an introverted child? He delves to the deepest part of his understanding of human emotion to figure out how to relate to her and introduce her to making friends and help her come out of her shell. Friend stops by your discord call to say something in his native language? He'll spend a whole year systematically dismantling that language and trying to build his understanding of it from the ground up until he can read (and almost write!) it pretty well. Friends want to do emotional roleplay? He'll showcase his stunning emotional intelligence and find the most moving lines to get his point across. His ability to yes-and is truly incredible.
Sure, he's silly and goofy and loves making noises. But he always throws everything he has into every situation and that's, I think, why everyone he interacts with tends to love him.
