This is a personal testimonial: If you ever find yourself in Spring Hill, Florida, check out Greek City restaurant. So taste and healthy. Even Dr. Dane Unfairchild agrees. Oh, and he was drinking tea not soda to clarify.

Dark Chocolate Covered Kiwi Popsicles…RECIPE
Oh, wow. Easy and looks delicious. By the way, are you familiar with the anatomy of a kiwi? Here:
Aww yiss. This is true. I've been going for an average of a gallon and a half of water a day. Feels good, man. Oh, and keep a bottle of water or two on your nightstand. I've been waking up and killing a bottle of water immediately before I do anything else. Seems to give me some extra pep in my step. Will it do the same for you? Science!
And when I think of parodies for Rick Ross's "Everyday I'm Hustling," my mind goes to Harry Potter.

Upcoming 5K Opportunity - Run it out!
A message from PUTNAM COUNTY SCHOOLS
Good Morning! Want your school to win $500? Then please encourage all staff and students along with their families to sign up for the 5K Sprint for Students-Feed the Need and/or 1 mile fun run Saturday May 10th, 2014 Downtown Palatka Riverfront. 5K starts 8:00am 1 mile fun run starts 9:00am All proceeds go to the weekend backpack program that sends food home with students over the weekend. Please spread the word and post the flyer to encourage community folks to sign up for this great cause! Here is the race page link: 5K Sprint for Students--Feed the Need (Almost 9000 students in Putnam County are currently on Free and Reduced lunch. Many of these students do not have enough food in the home on the weekends. The backpack program sends food home with students in need every weekend. We currently have ~700 students that are benefiting from this program. For $70 a student can receive food every weekend for an entire school year. The need for resources is greater than the number of students that would benefit from this program) Look forward to seeing everyone at the start line as we race to end hunger in Putnam County! I'm thinking I will be there. Thinking. My running has been super weaksauce lately. Here is me:

Poor sleep doubles hospitalizations in heart failure, according to new research. The researchers found that 215 patients (43%) had sleep problems at discharge from the initial hospitalization and nearly one-third (30%) had continued sleep problems at 12 months. Patients with continued sleep problems were two times more likely to be hospitalized during the follow up period than those without any sleep problems. Risk was double for all-cause hospitalizations and for cardiovascular hospitalizations.

Caution
This is the kind of summertime treat that everybody appreciates. No, they're not making hunch punch. You could, but that's another blog.
BTW, any Hannibal (movie not T.V. show) fans in the house? The first .gif in the upper left hand corner reminds me of one of the final, climactic scenes of the movie, in which Hannibal Lecter "serves" his victims. Remember Ray Liotta? Yea, I bet you do.

Just keep going…
No one said it wouldn't suck. When things get tough, just reframe the situation and think of the opportunity.
I recently just celebrated losing 45 lbs since the end of 2012. I'm now 180 and when I started at NEFEC, I'd say I was about 210 lbs. You guys don't make it easy on chubby bunny like me.
Eating avocados not only is chemically beneficial for your body but also for eliciting serious existential questions. Take it away philosoraptor:

Along with a lot of the larger picture ideas such as heathy eating and exercise, we shouldn't overlook a lot of the factors of health and wellness at the molecular level.

CHECK OUT THE EXERCISES
My buddy, let's call him Dr. Dane Unfairchild, told me to look in to some bodyweight exercises because all the golf has rendered my trapezius muscle unable to lift weight right now.
So, I used the Google machine and found these sick exercise routines that don't require any special equipment and you can do them anywhere (I mean, not in the aisles at Publix). The best part are the names of the circuits. Really hardcore. I want to go Super Saiyan. If you don't know what that means, don't worry about your cultural literacy. I was just a latchkey child.
Michale Phelps mom went Super Saiyan once. Once.
Granted, I know my humor is a bit off. Do you find this punny, at all?

These little circuits are fun and break up the monotony of running.
I did the running man kicks in my dining room and forgot the window was open. So, you can understand my surprise when my 95 year old neighbor came over to dance, thinking I was doing some jacked-up version of the Charleston.
Here is an actual clip of me dancing in my living room.
