Just designed, performed, and gave a 10 minute research talk on an experiment in a little over 24 hours. Does God look down on the Earth and fear what he has created?
Science Fun Fact #4!
Did you know that the human stomach can dissolve razor blades in as little as 2 hours? This is because your stomach acids pH scale is around 1 or 2, which is incredibly strong. The pH scale is ranked from the lowest numbers being the strongest acids and the higher numbers being weaker. Any value above 7 is basic (weaker) and any value below 7 is acidic (stronger.) For example, drain cleaner is an example of an extremely basic 14 on the pH scale and battery acid is a very strong 0.

These weird, wild and totally true science facts prove that reality is often stranger—and a lot more interesting—than fiction.
Science Fun Fact #3!
Did you know that your tears kill bacteria? In 1922, Nobel Prize winner Alexander Fleming (who made penicillin) discovered that tears are jam packed with enzymes called lysozymes. Each molecule in these lysozymes contain a set of jaws that bite and attack bacterial invaders. They chew through bacteria cell walls, breaking a hole in it. This causes the bacteria to explode!

Each tear you shed contains an army of enzymatic Pac-Men, ready to chase down and gobble up germs before they infect the sensitive tissues a
Science Fun Fact #2!
Did you know that Uranus’s rotation is almost completely on its side? This causes Uranus to be the planet with one of the most extreme seasons in the Milky Way, the winters being about 21 Earth years long. The reason for its odd tilt is thought to be because an Earth sized object had hit it long ago.
Uranus is a very cold and windy world. The ice giant is surrounded by 13 faint rings and 28 small moons. Uranus rotates at a nearly 90-degre
i loveeeee being a scientist but also being a freak about it like let me tell you all about these simulations I’m doing I can’t actually explain them but like the figures are certainly figures ya know
"“Until now, most lensed supernovae were magnified by massive galaxy clusters, whose mass distributions are complex and hard to model,” says Allan Schweinfurth. “SN Winny, however, is lensed by just two individual galaxies. We find overall smooth and regular light and mass distributions for these galaxies, suggesting that they have not yet collided in the past despite their close apparent proximity. The overall simplicity of the system offers an exciting opportunity to measure the universe’s expansion rate with high accuracy.”"
Scientists have known for nearly a century that the universe is expanding, but the exact rate of that expansion is still uncertain. This ong
THE BILLEST NYE, SCIENTIST GUY!!!
Welcome to the online immortalization of a specifically eventful day in our 4th period science class. This blog is run by @foxlikescereal and @pixelpawsisaweirdname, we are both minors so please keep that in mind while interacting. (and yes, the blog name is a s4rj joke)
The backstory to this madness:
Basically, our science teacher created a Padlet (look it up) for us to upload our pictures from a fun in class activity and look at others. We happened to have a Bill Nye video playing in the background at the time, and that coupled with the quick realization of other students that they could change their username to anything resulted in the wet and sticky birth of 4 Bill Nye the Science Guy roleplay accounts. typical selfcest yaoi ensues.
Bills:
Normal Bill Nye
Bill Nye The GOOD Science Guy
Bill Nye The EVIL Science Guy
Bill Nye The Science Fry
