I'm kind of relieved, a little bit afraid and excited at the same time to finally welcome 2018. Couple days ago, on Jan 1st, I had my first music collab with my cousin @yemimalazurita (swipe to the right). We, as a choir, sung this song on the New Year Night Service, and we were blessed by it. So we decided to cover this song with saxophone and flute. And here are the lyrics (in Indonesian) : . . "Hari-hari telah berlalu, kusadari lemahnya diriku. I give thanks to God for His Word renew me day by day, His Spirit guide me to walk through the path, and for His love give me the strength to stand until today. 🙏🙏 . My very first participating in 10K run event and I received a medal ! Yaaaay.. 🎉🎉 Surprisingly, my run record was good enough, it goes beyond from what I expected. I ran on 10km route in 73 minutes! Well, it's fun to challenge yourself once in a while, to have the excitement of another "first time" moment. Yep! Push yourself a little bit harder to run a lil bit further, and to run a lil bit longer. My mind recently is showering me with bunch thoughts of relationship. Keep me awake at night much longer that I used to be. Yes, it’s a rare yet a bizzare occasion in my life. I usually never let those kind of thoughts lingering too long, but this one is different. Anyway, here are some of my random thoughts.. __________________________________________

Building a serious and rightful relationship could be more complicated than you think of. It’s not only focus on the matter of the physical thing (Yes, it may be considered only at first time, but that’s not the main reason), but it’s more on the emotional and spiritual one. To know and understand each others’ characters, interests, ideal views, concerns, and also problems. Sometimes the condition is also become a challange, such as to overcome the distance problem; and to be accepted in the family (esp. parents).

It really is a challenge for me, I see it as a process of accepting and giving. The ability to accept the flaws, even the darkest one, and also accept the strengths or gifts. The process to willingly give each other’s time, attention, cares, and gain / build trust and feeling.

Yet it’s also a blessing, I see as a journey / process of renewal in spiritual and emosional state to be more mature. We are different in many ways, yet commit each others to build and to grow together in the process. The key is to always put God between the two of you. As we involved God in the middle of the process, I believe He will guide and transform the both of you in a good way. Always reflects on His word.

No matter how hard or impossible it seems like, never give up to put hope in God and to each other. Be truthful and obedient to His will, although it may seem not logical and seems impossible. Keep on believing that God’s plan would never fail, that everything will be beautiful in His time.
