You ever notice how your friends particularly interact with you as opposed to their other friends?
Like when they greet you, it's a pretty simple "Hey, good to see you," and maybe a half-hug. But when literally any of their other friends show up, it's "OH MY GOD FINALLY I MISSED YOU SO MUCH" followed by them dive-bombing into their arms and you're kinda just standing there realizing how generally unexcited they are to have you around.
Or when you try to make plans with them repeatedly and all you always get is "Oh, sorry, I'm going to be busy (doing this thing with the same other people they always make time for while never doing the same for you.)" And you realize how low of a priority you are to them.
Or if we want to get really specific, they invite you to their birthday party, you notice the pattern of greetings described in the first paragraph, and then as people are leaving they make it a point to make sure they spend another few minutes talking to them before those people leave and hug them tightly as their farewell.
Then you happen to leave for 10 minutes to use the restroom and when you get back... they're gone. No text asking if you left. No apparent attempt to find you to say bye before leaving. Just gone.
Why the fuck do none of my friends *really* value me?
