Found at Sea
Hey guys! I know it’s been a while and I hope everyone is staying well and had a lovely Christmas break! Sooooo, while I’ve been completely MIA (school and stuff) I’ve been writing this new fic, Found at Sea. It’s honestly my baby now, and I think that enough of it has been written for me to start posting it! It will feature Elriel, Nessian and Feysand heavily as they’re main ships with all their pov! It’s very loosely inspired by Pirates of the Caribbean in the sense that they’re pirates lol. If you’d like to look at my other works, just search “my writing” on my blog :)
For tags, I’ve got my usual tag list, but if you’d like to be added or removed, please let me know!
Synopsis: Nesta, Elain and Feyre and the daughters of the Pirate King, all their lives they have been taught that when their father dies, it will be down to them to take the throne. Six years later, their father passes, but with the threat of war on the seas from Hyburn, the sisters team up with the crew of the Nightmare to convince the other Pirate Lords to fight with them. But how can the Nightmare trust the girls, when they’re keeping their very identity from them? Will the alliance built on lies last, or crumble around them?

Prologue
Nesta squared her shoulders against the heavy sense of death clouding the room. She knew this day was coming, she was not a stranger to death, and neither was her father. They’d often spoken of what they would do after her father, the Pirate King finally passed. Plans had been made with flippancy and an air of carelessness, brushing over the prospect of his death, because how could such a strong presence in Nesta’s life truly leave?
She’d been at the helm as she always was when they had come to tell her, the usually smooth wood biting against her palms as she tightened her hands on the wheel until her knuckles whitened.
Her father had been ill for a while and it had been hell watching him shrivel into a ghost of himself. So eventually he’d retired to his room and the crew had not seen him since. That had left Nesta truly alone to command the ship. It wasn’t a hard task and she’d easily fallen into the role of sole captain, it was what she’d been born and raised to do. She was no stranger to these people- she’d grown up on this ship. Of course, you’d then expect them to be as close as family but the reality was quite the opposite. Nesta was a princess, and the crew never let her forget it for one moment growing up.
Now she would never let them forget it.
