Don’t ever make fun of someone who’s deeply invested in something fictional.  Whether it’s a cartoon, a comic, a video game, a book series, or anything else like that.  You don’t know what that thing means to them.  Maybe it’s prevented them from hurting themselves, or helped them get through an illness or a bad situation.  Maybe they met their only true friends through the fandom.  Perhaps they simply just enjoy the thing because it’s well-written and entertaining, and they’ve spent years watching the characters grow.

Frisk’s gender is not stated. 

You can headcanon it to be whatever you want and it won’t affect the story at all because it’s not integral and because it’s never said. They’re always referred to as “they”.  If you want Frisk to be a boy, go for it. Girl, go for it. Neither is wrong because you don’t know so just do whatever you want.

Someone’s headcanon changes literally nothing and doesn’t ‘erase’ Frisk’s gender because someone’s headcanon, once again, is just that.

PLEase just take this game at face value and not argue over things like this.

We don’t need to devolve into petty squabbles over headcanons and misrepresentation, and I sure as hell don’t want to have to turn my nose up at the vocal minority trying to ‘correct’ someone’s opinions when they could just not.
