don't know if you've seen it or not, but i had a minute long video of your kitchen mishaps come up on my twitter the other day and i have two very serious questions for you. one, are you okay? and two, have you ever considered hiring a chef? i feel like you're about one more kitchen mistake away from some sort of final destination moment. @nelissems

Someone on set showed me this video the other day, and I cracked up, because I can't believe someone made a video of my kitchen mishaps, like, why? I promise that I'm okay, but I shouldn't be allowed in a kitchen, ever. It's a running joke that it'll end in death, either mine or someone else's. You might be right about hiring a chef. I swear I just eat a lot of takeout because I really am so very clumsy and accident-prone that it's just not safe for me in the kitchen. You're probably right about the final destination moment, so yeah, I should just remove myself from the kitchen for good. Make everyone that loves me happy.

HUDSON: strengths: everything. weaknesses: nothing. admittedly, it's not too bad when we're drunk. though that's purely from my drunk perspective. you'd have to ask someone who has drank with us about the truth. HUDSON: i love being the roach in his life. <3 if he knows you're in on it then he's bound to say yes. or at least maybe. missing you too, soph. how long are you supposed to be filming yellowjackets for? HUDSON: you sure? i don't mind showing hole. could be a hudson exclusive just for you. HUDSON: my first thought is always going to be to tease you. it's like our love language or something. i'm sure you're doing great. if she's willingly staying with you then that has to mean something, right? not like a hotel or airbnb wasn't an option. just don't offer to cook for her (a death threat coming from u) and i'm sure it'll all go smoothly.

SOPHIE: searching for people that have drunk with you to get the intel, or i guess i could drink with you and learn for myself. but if you scar me, i'll require presents afterward to make me feel better. SOPHIE: i wish i was the roach in his life too, that sounds fun. i mean, i can sweet talk people pretty well, so you might be right he'll have to say yes. i'm still missing you :(( when can you come home to vancouver? they've not given us an exact date, but they're saying it could last until sometime this summer. SOPHIE: oh, i know you don't mind showing hole. but i feel like your husband might have a problem with you showing me your hole, just saying. even if i'm like 95% gay, there's 5% of me that still likes guys, sort of, and i feel like connor will focus on that. SOPHIE: i do love that our love language is teasing, it's why we're the closest of friends, if you ask me. well, you'll be the first to know the good news, because after staying with me and us talking, and then her coming back to stay with me again (she's here right now), we've decided to get back together. so, she's very much my girlfriend now. well, again. and i didn't offer to cook for her, so no attempt of murder or anything like that. only ordering out for us, because i do want to keep her around and all. we have to have a double date!

are we doing takeout or going to sit in an actual restaurant? i need to know how lazy i can get with my airport fit. i love hearing it too, especially after so much time apart. tell me you went for some crazy colors with the wigs. i'm getting tired of the plain old brown. plus, i think it'd be stupid funny for jackie to show up with brightly colored hair for no explained reason. i'm thinking orange. maybe blue, just to add a lil razzle dazzle. please bug me all the time. it's all i want. brb, changing my middle name to mushy. private: actually, i want to label it. we've spent so much time dancing around things and pretending not to be totally fucking into each other so why delay it any further? besides, girlfriend has a really nice ring to it.

Even though you look beautiful no matter what you're wearing, I'm glad that we went with takeout anyway, because it was much better just relaxing and eating at the apartment. I didn't go all crazy with the colors of the wigs, and now I'm mad at myself. I should start looking for crazy colors and suggest that next, though! I can just imagine what people would say if Jackie popped up with an orange wig and no explanation behind it. Yeah? Good, because I like where you live too, so just all the more reason to bug you. Though, you need to come see my new place in Montreal too! I've always loved Summer as a middle name, but Mushy might work better for you, just saying. Private: Yeah? Okay, then we'll label it. Because you're right, after so long of dancing around things, I don't want to pretend anymore. Because yeah, I'm so into you it's unreal. And you're right, girlfriend does have a nice ring to it. I hope you know that I need to tell all my friends that you're my girlfriend again; I'm not going to shut up about it, honestly.

got the flight booked so i should land around about seven o'clock, give or take. i've got a little longer until i have to head back to work so my time is yours for a while. i'm glad you're in support of this awfully hilarious wig journey they've got jackie on. don't know if it's budget cuts to the wig department or if it's a running joke but i'm obsessed. the door is wide open, babes. mushy is a really good look on you, by the way. private: yeah? i don't know if you want to label it or not, but i miss us too. a lot. i miss you.

Sounds good. I'll be done on set by then so we can catch dinner after I pick you up from the airport and head back to my apartment after. Really? Love hearing that you'll be all mine for a while. Listen, I might have been searching for bad wigs online the other day and sending them to the director for 'just in case,' and they loved them all, so be prepared. Good, because I have a feeling when I'm not filming, I'm going to want to bug you. I'm glad you don't mind when I'm mushy then, because I love when you are. Private: Part of me would like to label it, but if you're not ready to label it, we don't have to. Like, I'll understand if you want to take time to label it. But the fact that we're on the same page with missing 'us', that feels good. I miss you a lot too, Ella. Can't wait until I can see you again.

exactly why i'm going to keep saying them. how about i come back later next week? maybe around tuesday night? i have a couple things i need to do in los angeles but then my time can be yours again. luckily her wigs constantly going down in quality is one of my favorite things; i'm half expecting any callbacks to come with a dollar tree wig now. please, i would love it if you started popping up at my house. best surprise gift ever. we're being very mushy, aren't we? private: so, excuse me for being a bit bold here, but ... what do you say to giving us another chance?

You're filming the final season of Yellowjackets right now, right? Is there anything you can tell me about the final season? Or am I going to have to wait like everyone else? I am filming the final season, yes. I can't tell you anything, sorry. They're keeping everything under tight security because they want everything to be a surprise and no spoiler leaks. Believe me, if I could give you some input I would, but I can't. You'll have to wait like everyone else! I'm all for us hanging out in the near future, and I'm all for us talking about them becoming an item too; you know I'm on board for this ship to happen. And I agree it would be a lot of fun to spend more time with you as well. What part of the world are you in right now? Maybe you can come hang in Vancouver for a little while? I love when other Canadians check in on me, honestly, because you're right; I feel like we should all stick together as well. And yeah, The Book Thief was ages ago, and it's still crazy to think that I did that project, you know? But right now I'm working on my final season of Yellowjackets, which is my passion project that I love so much, honestly. But I also am hoping to be part of season 2 of Heated Rivalry this summer, and I'm doing a couple French-Canadian projects as well. What about you? What are you working on right now?

every kiss with you lives up to my expectations. actually, no, they exceed my expectations. too bold to confess that i miss you lips already? i'm at home not even doing anything so kind of questioning why i even left canada to begin with but whatever. no matter how bad the wigs get, you know i would show up for each and every single season that they asked me. i actually don't think anyone would mind you popping up at their house, or maybe that's just me. how's filming going now? i wish we could have more days like that too. maybe when you get some free time, we can make it happen. please, you're my favorite person to celebrate so there's no way i would have missed it. i mean, i'm already fully attached so i'm all for you being attached too. yeah? what do you think about us?

You say things like that, babe, and it's going to go right to my head. I hope you know that! And it's not too bold at all, because I miss your lips too and wish you were already back in Canada. You could have stayed as long as you wanted, you know? I'd have loved you to stay longer. The wigs are pretty bad, but you look good in them no matter what, and every season needs you if you ask me. Well, just remember you said that when I'm randomly popping up at your house. Filming is going pretty well, long days and nights, but I'm used to those. I would love more days like that with you, and the moment I get some free time, we'll make it happen. Even if I have to come to you, which you know I'd happily do. You're making me blush saying I'm your favorite person to celebrate, but I get it, since I feel the same way at your birthday. You're already fully attached? Good to know. Feel a bit better about being fully attached myself then. It's mostly about us being together again and hopefully getting it right this time.

glad we're on the same page, babe. also glad that the kiss lived up to your expectations because it lived up to mine too. i can't believe they didn't direct order a billion seasons because that's what it deserved to have. however, i got all the faith that everyone will stay in touch after the show ends. lifetime bond and all that. it really was nice being together — you, me, and an endless stream of cheesy movies? my favorite. i'm going to miss you too, soph. is it bad that i kind of like that you're getting attached again? because i'm getting attached too. i missed us.

can i just say that i'm absolutely obsessed with how you speak french? it's so different to how Parisians speak, which is something i'm more used to hearing. literally just watched a two minute IG video of you speaking without subtitles and understood none of it but ugh, it sounded so good. did you grow up speaking french as your first language? / @nelissems

Wait, really? Québécois is usually so hated on, so the fact that you're saying you're obsessed with how I speak French is making me giddy right now. Though I will say, I can speak traditional French as well; it's just Québécois is my first language, so it's easier to speak that for me. But yeah, French is my first language, but my mom made sure that I knew how to speak English as well my whole time growing up. I'll admit that I'm more comfortable with French a lot of the time.
