Somatic, also known as sensorimotor, compulsions are a sub-type in OCD in which one excessively obsesses over bodily sensations and functions. Examples of a function a person can obsess over, but not limited to, are: excessive yawning, blinking, and swallowing.
Nikita yawning so often and widely to the point his jaw begins to click signifies he couldn't stop it, even if it gave him pain and jaw issues.
Compulsions like these are reported to be extremely hard to manage because it involves your own body, rather than being something you can physically remove yourself from.
An example of Nikita's jaw clicking.
In this photo, Lytkin seems to be blinking quite aggressively. A possibility is that he was reacting to the lights bothering him.
But because Nikita exhibits a compulsion of excessive yawning, the grimace on his face could be an effect from his jaw clicking after yawning, and he happened to be photographed afterwards.
Another possible explanation is that he suffered from a blinking compulsion, likely fixated on other bodily functions. It is uncommon for people with OCD to have just one compulsion; and the disorder usually comes with multiple, if not many more. A blinking compulsion is within the same subtype as somatic compulsions, and tends to make individuals blink very aggressively; causing their face to scrunch up due to the muscles tensing.
A common part of OCD is that it causes a fear of proximity with other people. This can be for various reasons, like fear of contamination, being judged, or worrying about acting out inappropriately due to intrusive thoughts.
Nikita refusing to be seen with his own mother in public is most likely a result of worrying about what could happen if they are seen. He was already very overtly shy as a child, which happened to be a great pathway for a disorder to worsen his anxiousness about things other people deem as small.
Marina mentioned the boy was very secretive about his personal life, worryingly so. Avoidance itself can be a compulsion, but severe restriction from sharing about one's personal life is usually caused by shame or a worry about being misunderstood and judged.
In the end, Nikita grew up feeling isolated and withdrawn with unmanaged symptoms, ultimately causing unstable and violent behaviors. If he had received proper mental health care, it's likely he would not have suffered the demise he did.
Been seeing this going around on TikTok, and as real as it might look at first glance, it isn't his grave. It's an edited picture of someone else's. Here is the defunct link to the original.
well so i got bodyblocked by a random meg in dbd match between a pallet where i was looping the killer and when he downed me she tried to blind him (not flashlight save me btw) but failed and this stupid cunt died because she wanted to use her head on SO FUCKING MUCH on the killer and as soon as she opened the locker to get her head on value she died LMFAO
My take on NikitaL's personality types in various typology systems (EG, PY, Socio, etc..) (With descriptions and links!)
Enneagram subtype: sx9
"When inertia affects the sexual instinct, the person invests his energy in the intimate relationship of two and, in the couple or friendship, he gets involved in a confused way, just as he lived with his parents, in which he allows himself to feel his existence only through the other, to whose desires and needs it attends, without differentiating the I from the you. In short, he āusesā the existence of the other to be able to carry out his own. He is a devoted but drugged lover; he converges and identifies himself globally with the loved one in order to feel loved.
The sexual instinct loses its instinctive character and becomes an ability to perceive the need of the other. One's own pleasure can be experienced if it is at the service of the loved person's pleasure, with a feeling of abnegation where the self has no space. The loss of the connection with his deep self is compensated by looking out. The other becomes the reference, the compass to detect needs or thoughts. The mechanism by which sexual E9 becomes indifferent, apathetic, and drugged is the interruption of instinctual sensation before it is even noticed. This interruption results in anesthesia and obtundation. Paradoxically, it is the very fact of feeling that deactivates feeling.
This process carries with it a sense of confusion and therefore inappropriateness, which adds a further degree of complexity to the sexual E9's understanding of what he himself feels. Only when he reaches exasperation (after repeated denials of his instinctual drive) does he decide it is time to give space to his need and allow himself to be determined or even imposing to satisfy it."
Socionic type: SEI , each function explained
"The Unhealthy SEI (Sensory-Ethical Introvert), often called the Mediator or Dumas, is a tragic paradox: a creature of comfort who can find comfort nowhere. In a state of distress, the SEIās natural warmth curdles into clinginess, and their aesthetic appreciation devolves into hedonistic gluttony. While the healthy SEI is the soothing balm of the socion, the unhealthy SEI is a vortex of passive-aggression and sensory overload.
Introverted Sensing (Si). In a healthy state, Si curates a peaceful, predictable internal environment. Under stress, this curation becomes a desperate hoarding of sensations. The unhealthy SEI becomes a slave to physical comfort, yet finds no pleasure in it. They may overeat, oversleep, or zone out for hours in front of mindless media, not to relax, but to numb an internal chaos they cannot articulate. Their home, once a sanctuary, becomes a cluttered fortress. They are hypersensitive to discomfortāa scratchy tag, a change in room temperature, or an off-taste in food is not an annoyance but a personal violation.
This sensory implosion is paired with a malignant expression of their creative function, Extraverted Ethics (Fe). The healthy SEI uses Fe to harmonize the group, to tell gentle jokes and offer a comforting shoulder. The unhealthy SEI uses Fe as a tool of covert control. They are masters of the "emotional temperature check," but they use this data not to soothe, but to manipulate. They know exactly what to say to induce guilt. They become martyrs, sacrificing their own (supposed) comfort to highlight the ingratitude of others. Their communication is thick with passive-aggressive sighs, silent treatments, and the infamous phrase, "Iām fine," delivered in a tone that ensures no one believes them."
Instinctual stacking: sx/sp
"With the social instinct last in the stacking, there can be an on/off quality when it comes to relating and these Nines are often somewhat moodier than the other subtypes. As with the self-pres/sexual, this subtype might not engage socially with the same smoothness as other subtypes of Nine. They seem to go towards others in a staccato fashion ā they connect in bursts, then withdraw.
When it comes to intimate relationships, this subtype can be needy. The merging of the Nine combines with the intensity of the sexual instinct to create a subtype that will always be in danger of losing themselves in a relationship. Their boundaries for themselves and their partner can become blurred which can lead to conflicts. This subtype might have a hard time judging clearly the degree to which they have merged."
Psychosophy type: FELV
"An unhealthy FELV struggles with severe indecision, hypochondria regarding their physical needs, over-reliance on others for direction, and crippling intellectual self-doubt."
"(1F-4) Result 1F Result-1F is usually indifferent to their appearance and their environnment. They are too lazy to maintain order, take care of their body, or cook well. Thus, they either learn to minimize their needs, or rely on the services of others (for example by ordering take-out food).
Result-1F does not enjoy being active, playing sports, or moving around. A passive lifestyle is much more suitable for them.
Thus they can be mistaken for 4F. But 4F easily adapts to others' habits and tastes, while result-1F still wants what it wants. They get what they desire, just not in energy-intensive ways, and covering too much ground. But if you get in the way of result-1F's habits and tastes, they will do everything they can to push back and stop this."
"Passive-2E is not characterized by intense emotional self-expression, rather their feelings are soft and pleasant for the sake of others.
If they feel dislike or indifference toward someone else (which happens often, since many desire communication with passive-2E), they try not to demonstrate this directly. If the person is genuinely too intrusive, passive-2F will be able to reject them, but will do so politely and courteously to avoid hurt feelings."
"The owners of the Third Logic are simultaneously naive and distrustful. On the one hand, they are willing to believe in something that is well-argued; on the other hand, they do not trust ājust information,ā even from an authoritative source. However, 3L individuals are touchingly grateful when something is explained to them or when they are told something interesting, or when unexpected conclusions are drawn from a situation. The easiest way to recognize the Third Logic is in an argument: they immediately lose their confidence and react quite aggressively. This is due to the fact that they begin to doubt the correctness of their opinion and their knowledge. 3L is unable to āagree to disagreeā like 2L, leaving everyone with their own opinion ā no, they need to get to the truth. Sometimes 3L individuals have trouble expressing their thoughts in words, which manifests as incoherence and confusion of speech. Then they try to express their thoughts again. 3L individuals also sometimes have difficulty understanding simple things because they expect a catch in everything and are not inclined to trust their intellect."
"Fourth Volition becomes will-less, waiting for decisions and active actions from others. At this moment, it can be forced to do anything, stubbornness disappears somewhere, but if you donāt make it do anything, it will hang in an apathetic state and ālet looseā using its upper functions: eat goodies, throw tantrums, or contemplate. In the usual state, 4V is a cute, relaxed person who allows others to be themselves in his company. He can take on leadership, but only if it is āassignedā to him by others, and hardly by his own will, because he dislikes the effort and responsibility. It is believed that Fourth Volitions have no ambitions ā this is not true. But they find it easier to realize their ambitions alone, without responsibility āfor the common cause.ā Moreover, 4V can be āinfectedā with your own dreams and plans through prolonged exposure, then they will help you in implementing them."
Tritype: The Seeker (946 specifically)
"This tritype is more withdrawn and introverted, due to 9 and 4. Somewhat anxious but fairly friendly though quiet, considering and thoughtful, hesitant. Very in their head. Peaceful. Introspective, ruminating. Wants to know how they fit into the world. Deep capability for feeling and thinking about what they are feeling. Self conscious. Less impulsive as theyāre caught up on not making a mistake, thinks thoroughly before acting but sometimes will hesitate too much and be too passive. Torn between inaction and upsetting people by possible actions. Somewhat self conscious. Seeks (credible) advice. More phobic. Though they are introspective, do seek people out. Feel left out because of their differences and would like to āblend inā lest their differences cause problems sometimes."
Temperament: phleg-mel
"As a result of his delayed and sometimes dull response, a phlegmatic-melancholic will be slower to speak out, tempted to procrastinate, and reticent. They may appear ā or believe themselves -- at times to be ālazy.ā At times when the melancholic aspect dominates, he will have plenty of time in which mull over in his mind what his response should have been. He may become easily offended (though he may not reveal this to you) or discouraged. The phlegmatic attentiveness to relationships, and to getting along and keeping the peace, will ātake the edge offā some of the melancholic tendency to perfectionism and critical judgments of others. On the other hand, because he may be more easily offended, he may want to be critical of others yet hesitant to confront directly. "
