Have you ever wondered how Amber and Xiao canonically know each other from that one super old hoyoverse video introducing Liyue? No? Well you better be now! Because this fic is all about that!! Wanted to write my own interpretation on how a pair like that that could ever become friends so if you're interested in that i would love for you to read this little fic of mine:3

Summary:

Being the only person left in mondstadt that has hope her grandfather is still alive, Amber sets out on a journey to Liyue to search for answers about his whereabouts. She unknowingly embarked on this mission when a certain yaksha was in need of something she was perfect to help with, that being, a friend. Watch as this unlikely friendship forms while the two go on an adventure to defend dihua marsh and in a process learn they aren't nearly as different as they once thought.
