read a smut fanfic so insanely dark and depraved that it mildly traumatized me the other day, but I still had to give it kudos for being astonishingly well-written.

that being said, it haunts me. it will always haunt me.

it made my stomach turn just a little bit, and i've never read anything, fanfic or not, that had a physical effect on me like that shit. whew.

i couldn't even finish reading it, I felt like I had to hurl.

nothing will top the total disappointment i felt watching the finale and then the play immediately after and realizing they just didn't acknowledge any of henry's previous relationships. joyce trying to offer henry a sense of comfort & him telling her to protect what she loves. hopper trying so hard to save him not realizing that he had what he was looking for the whole time. no mention of patty at all (i'm actually grateful for this tho i don't want Them going near her). it drives me crazy just how much meaning those scenes could've had and they were totally ignored bc that would require addressing the elephant in the room and making the play actually accessible.
