Because I’m getting a lot of asks about it… here’s the gist of “the hickey incident” at last year’s GPF. It doesn’t appear that the “hickey” was there the day of the short dance (see top left), but it was definitely there after their free dance the next day. 

You can also note that Scott kept his shirt super crooked during all their press afterward and Tessa pretty obviously checks that it’s hidden in the last gif (right before they start an interview). The mark isn’t really in a place where you’d expect marks to come from just their routines (that’d probably be closer to the top of his shoulders/crook of his neck), so people had lots of fun speculating this was from a post-win celebration between them.
