Shadow has long been a favorite of mine (they're cool. they're gender. they're relatable.) but Dr. Starline dragged me into actually being part of the fandom. current overall favorite is probably actually Neo Metal Sonic though. also like Jet (love a proud bird. shout out to Medly and also my bestie Revali)

My friend and I are discussing how each Sonic character would text and I realised that if, on the rare occasion, Omega WOULD need to get into contact with someone, he wouldn't simply text or call. No. He would hack the communication lines with his brain, and send his message exclusively to your phone as an emergency alert. He's the most important robot after all, so his message should take priority.

Headcanon: Omega hasn't actually removed the tracker Eggman stuck in him. Eggman and every Badnik in the empire know his location at all times.

Eggman sent squads of Badniks after him for months before getting wise to the fact that Omega looked forward to every next delivery of robots for him to destroy. (Like doordash but for knuckle sandwiches instead.)
