Gtcon's 2025 Gtober is here!

Our contribution to the wonderful creativity of October prompt lists!

This year is a little special, as you can see, cause this time there's more then one prompt for each day! Since there were more people giving different choices, YOU 🫵 , as the artist, now have the chance to draw with one or two of each days prompts (you don't have to draw each day with two prompts, it's just a suggestion, you may draw with just one prompt if you want^^). Any media like art, writing, or anything creative that you can think of is more than welcome and very much encouraged^^! You can pick or choose which prompt list you'll want to use too! These three lists were made by @incendiarymoth @twinklemaddie and @karrots-pokeblog

psychological and social g/t analysis (partially self-indulgent)

after hearing the shambles and “controversy” within the community, it's no surprise to me, that a community solely built upon the foundation of a fictional trope, is vulnerable to these potential internalized feelings where we might find some posts insensitive or find solace in in my opinion, that idea that giants and tinies cannot be in unity feels deeply rooted within the history of discrimination against minorities (a concept i've developed on, i have seen this trope of big vs small numerous times and would like to speak on it) think of the privileged and the non-privileged — literally, the one with privilege holds the power (assuming it's the giant) compared to the underprivileged (tiny) (could also apply vice versa) why do i bring this up, i ask? here is what i think — a lot of the community has undergone trauma, is being actively oppressed by their suppressor(s), dealt / deals with mental health problems or even has been a bystander to the horrors that our own society shows, powerless or powerful to it we as individuals are bound to being subjected to a number in society — we have no dominion over the monsters that sit with us, politically or morally because of that, we may associate our giant/tiny identities with being physically powerless or more powerful due to these discriminatory attacks held against us, to have ourselves break that binary of an established power those who have / gone through / are undergoing traumatic responses or pain through their oppressors / suppressors may want to picture themselves with the power that they physically or mentally are not capable of holding as a coping mechanism, despite being discriminated against those who have / gone through / are undergoing traumatic responses or pain through their oppressors / suppressors but see themselves as powerless may enjoy the comfort of being held or taken care of by their trusted giant or may feel hopeless to it all and of course, there is also a crowd that just generally enjoys the dynamics and potential for world-building / lore between a major size difference interaction, which is in fine itself, i enjoy it plenty my point being is; we may fantasize about being giants or tinies ourselves because of the way the world (could) have rejected us, leading us to being alienated and oppressed by our definition of whom we see as the privileged (whether that be tinies, humans or giants)

the lack of support, confidence, or self-esteem could easily lead unto this belief, as well

little note underneath ; this was poorly written, so i apologize for any mistake or tone i've given off that could easily be misread as derogatory towards the giant/tiny community
