Tumblr's reply to the situation with CEO's transphobia is pathetic and you should not be thanking them for doing the bare minimum of saying he's not speaking for them. They fucking thanked that bitch.
The affected trans women are still banned.
A transphobic manchild offered no proper apology. Or stopped.
He is also still in his position.
Tumblr is still factually transphobic. Keep pushing.
They know what theyâre doing. They know exactly what theyâre doing when they see their users speaking out and nuke them. There is no error or compromise here, this is active malice on staffâs part and they will continue to treat black and trans bloggers like dirt if you just let them.
To anyone who still had any doubt: here you go. Nothing has changed and tumblr staff is still censoring any criticisms, still hasnât reversed any of the ridiculous bans, still hasnât added any kind of new tools for dealing with harassment.
Staff lied about almost every promise on their âapologyâ post. Nothing has changed and at this point I donât think anything will change unless we keep making a fuss about it.
Donât ever stop talking about this. Blow it up every fucking time it happens.

â àŒ àŒ ieiri shoko
â àŒ àŒ 1.8k words
â â ïž modern!au where everything is fine, no pronouns but implied fem!reader bc of the song, in their early 20âs? suggestive kinda maybe idk man i just work here, alcohol consumption
â â shoko loves retelling how the two of you got together.
contrary to popular belief, shoko ieiri was a lightweight.Â
as much as she likes to drink and smoke and brag about how she could outdrink any of the boys in front of you, she takes five shots back to back and you know youâll be dragging her to bed with more effort than youâd like.Â
but, sheâs having fun, and so are her friends, so who are you to really be upset when she has a pretty flush to her cheeks and sheâs giggling like a schoolgirl?Â
âcan ya tell the story of how you two met again?â gojo slurs out, leaning most of his weight on nanami, who just pushes him off with a scowl. gojo bounces from one shoulder to the next, into geto who welcomes him with a small smile.Â
itâs childlike, the way he asks, like heâs begging for a bedtime story from his parents rather than the embarrassing retelling of what brought you and shoko together.Â
your own cheeks are warm despite not touching a drop of alcohol, waving in front of you dismissively, âyou already know the story, gojo, i dunno why you ask for it everytime youâre drunk.âÂ
âbut geto doesnât!â he shakes his friend by the shoulder as if to emphasize this, and you fear geto might puke from the sudden movement, âhe wasnât âround when you two met, âmember?âÂ
you do, vividly remember how shoko would complain to you about gojo complaining to her about geto going on a âsudden spiritual journey and leaving them behindâ, but you think maybe now isn't the time to bring it up.Â
and shokoâs interest has been piqued enough to your current conversation that she draws away from nanami with a giggle, arm wrapping around your own as she leans forward.Â
âyou wanna know how we met?âÂ
ââfâcourse,â geto slurs out, now leaning against gojo. if anyone knocks into the two, theyâd both go down in a heaping pile of lanky limbs.Â
âi donât think-â you start, only to be shushed by gojo.Â
âsheâs gonâa tell my favorite part!âÂ
you roll your eyes, sending a pleading glance to nanami as if heâd ever have any amount of control over them, but he just shrugs and slides over the whiskey heâd been drinking. before youâre even able to touch the cup, shokoâs grabbing it and swinging it back into her mouth with a click of her tongue and a boop to your nose.Â
ânuh uh, youâre drivinâ, âmember?âÂ
in your defense, you werenât going to take a sip of the drink, but it still makes you pout how quickly she took it away. at least sheâs distracted from the story â
âgojo ând i were out drinking,â she starts, and you visibly deflate at the start of her recount.Â
àŒ àŒÂ
shoko was honestly surprised she managed to convince gojo to come out after such a disastrous midterm she is sure they both butchered. she knows heâs been down since geto dipped and the untimely failure was surely not going to bring his spirits up, but what broke college student doesnât love to get drunk on a weekend? especially when your best friend offers to pay?Â
she thinks her offer is what really got him to come out, and he seems at least a little happy to be out of the house; not burrowed under five different blankets with a tub of melted ice cream at his side, flipping through the same four streaming services before ultimately doom scrolling on his phone.Â
itâs a nice change, she thinks.Â
and when he leaves for a second to get the pair of them another round of shots, she spots you.Â
pretty, with your hair styled nicely out of your face with a hot form-fitting outfit that hugs you nicely. sheâs surprised she isnât drooling. you catch her eye, offer a meek smile and turn away just as gojo comes back with the shots. shokoâs eyes havenât left you, though.Â
gojo slides her the glass and she catches it without looking away, bringing the rim to her lips and tipping her head back until the liquidâs past her tongue, warmth spreading further through her body after it being her second (or third? how many had gojo passed her?) shot.Â
âyou like âem?â gojo asks after shooting back his own, wiping at his mouth and following his friend's gaze.Â
ââs cute.â she comments, but gojo can see the heart-eyes forming in her iris. he grins.Â
âi can go talk âem up for ya, if you want-âÂ
that pulls her attention from you quick, eyes snapping to meet his, âabsolutely not.âÂ
âwhy not?â he straightens his shoulders as if heâs really considering going, âthey are pretty cute. might have to talk to âem myself-âÂ
gojo moves to step away from the table theyâd laid claim to but before he can fully maneuver his way around, heâs being pulled back by shoko, who narrows her eyes and fixes her own little black dress with a pointed finger, âyou are not ruining this for me.âÂ
and she makes her way to where you were previously hovering, eyes scanning over every warm body until she finally spots you sitting alone, finger running around the rim of your glass as if you were bored out of your mind.Â
shoko could fix that. surely, definitely could fix that.Â
she slides into the seat across from you, smile already on her cheeks when your eyes shift from the glass to her.Â
âhi,â she starts, glad the warmth from the alcohol is buzzing under her skin enough to give her the boost she needs to be friendlier than usual. a look to the side and she catches gojoâs lingering stare, a smirk on his face as he cheers her on with a nod of his head, and itâs enough to spur her on further, âyou here all alone?âÂ
you smile besides yourself, hiding it when you look down at your lap. your fingers still tap tap tap at the rim of your glass, âiâm not,â you offer, âmy friends are on the dancefloor and âm not much of a dancer.âÂ
noted, shokoâs smile only seems to widen, âreally? âm sure you dance just fine.âÂ
you wave a hand absentmindedly in front of you with a scrunch of your nose, ânope, not me. iâm just here for the booze.âÂ
âthen let me buy you one?â shoko offers, eyes flitting to the cup youâd been nursing, âyou donât seem like a bourbon type to me. iâm thinking youâd like . . a strawberry daiquiri? or maybe a mojito? i can make a mean sex on the beach, too, if . . thatâd be something youâre into?âÂ
the implication isnât lost on you; leaves you pausing for a second as if in thought, opening your mouth to say something then thinking better of it before bringing the glass to your lips and tipping your head back, drinking the entirety of it in one go.Â
shokoâs impressed at how you donât cringe at the taste, head tilting as she waits for your reply to her offer.Â
âyou donât recognize me, do you?âÂ
shoko canât help the way her brows furrow at the question, head turning further as she scans over your face. sure, maybe you look familiar? you could be in her econ class, or even her physics class, both are at eight in the morning and sheâs hardly alive at that point of the day â the barâs so dimly lit, too, who is she to really say?Â
âi canât say i do,â she says finally, sitting up straighter, âshould i?âÂ
you smile again, bashful and pretty as you lean forward but look away from her, gesturing for her to lean forward as well. shoko does so without hesitation, eyes on your lips when you bring your hand towards your face like youâre getting ready to spill a juicy secret.Â
âweâve met before,â you almost whisper the words, and shokoâs glad she knows how to read lips or she fears she wouldn't catch the way they leave your tongue, âwe went on a date like last year.âÂ
you lean back, almost impressed with yourself at how she remains hovering forward, searching your face for any sign of it being a lie.Â
then, sheâs on damage control, âi would've remembered a date with someone as pretty as you.âÂ
another smile is on your lips, âi changed my style up a bit. sâokay if you donât recognize me, especially in this lighting.â you half gesture up to the flickering neon lights hanging around the establishment.Â
âwell . . what if we tried it again? âm sure i could make it up to you with that strawberry daiquiri?âÂ
her offer is quite tempting, but still, you canât help but tease, âwe slept together, yâknow? one night stand and you left before i even woke up.âÂ
you almost pout as you recount the night, and shokoâs brows cannot raise any higher on her face from surprise when you add, âespecially when it was so good.âÂ
the sex? or the date? she wants to ask, but this hardly seems like the time when youâre looking at her the way you are.Â
âwell how âbout another chance? âm not above begging.â shoko thinks gojo has been rubbing off on her, because surely these words are not leaving her lips. youâre just so fucking pretty, how could she skip out on another potential chance?Â
she holds her breath when you smile, head tilting as you think and think and think.Â
âsure,â you say finally, with a shrug, âas long as i get that strawberry daiquiri?âÂ
shoko canât stop the grin from forming on her face, looking over her shoulder to send a wink to gojo, whoâs already into his own flirty conversation with some blonde.Â
âletâs get outta here.â
àŒ àŒÂ
shokoâs full weight is pressed happily into your side when she finishes retelling the story, with gojo and geto in a fit of giggles across from the two of you, while nanami left in the middle of the story to get another round of drinks for the table.Â
nanami makes it back just as the story concludes, and shokoâs quick to grab her next shot from the table as he sets the glasses down, swinging it back before sheâs pressing into your side again with her head on your shoulder.Â
âdonât act like youâre not happy you gave me ânother chance.âÂ
she leans up and messily presses a kiss to your cheek, and you can smell the alcohol sheâd just drank on her tongue. tequila. nanami must hate you, because tequila means youâll be sitting in the bath for an extra thirty minutes promising her you love her while she giggles (or pukes into the trash can youâll need to pull beside the tub).Â
ânever said iâm not happy.â you assure her with a smile, turning your head to press your lips to her own.Â
she grins at the contact, cupping your cheek clumsily, and you think thereâs no one youâd rather be with.Â

âI just heard the funniest joke from Inumaki,â Nobara says, welcoming herself into your apartment. Youâre not surprised, and continue with your dessert preparations. Yuuji, to your left, spares her a wave, before going back to diligently preparing the vegetables.Â
Maki is the only one to respond by turning slightly in her seat to raise an eyebrow at Nobara when she walks up to the island, âSince when do you think Toge is funny?âÂ
âNot usually,â Nobara admits, taking the neighboring open seat. She crosses her arms atop the counter, and squints at you, âBut he surprised me this time.â
Your eyes fidget to Maki, who seems equally confused by Nobaraâs unnerving stare, then to Yuuji, who appears none the wiser, because he happily chirps, âWell, I wanna hear it! Tell us, Kugisaki!â
âHe said that it was soooo kind of you to share your anniversary date with Yuuta and have us all over for dinner,â Nobara drawls, âThen I got confused, of courseâbut then I thought, âMaybe theyâre secretly together and I just didnât know. Wouldnât be a huge surprise.ââ
You flinch at that, âWhat do you mean that wouldnât be a huge surââ
âThis is the funniest part, though,â Nobara squints, âHe said that youâre actually married, and he meant that today is your wedding anniversary. He was pretty convincing, though. Heâs very committed to the bitâeven challenged me to ask you at dinner, but I figured Iâd straighten it out now,â she drawls, reaching over to steal a cucumber slice from Yuujiâs station, âYouâre not actually married to Yuuta, right?â
You pause, for too long. Makiâs disbelief shifts from Nobara to you, morphing into a threatening glare that makes you chuckle nervously. Yuuji keeps turning his head between you and Nobara, waiting for one of you to crack.Â
Itâs not her. âOkay⊠define married,â you mumble.
Nobara all but jumps across the island, standing up and slamming her palms on the counter top. âWhat do you mean âdefine marriedââthereâs only one definition!â Yuuji frantically sweeps his preciously sliced vegetables out of her range. âYouâre either married to Okkotsu or youâre not, which is it?âÂ
You pause again. Too long this time.Â
âYouâre fucking kidding me,â Maki says, âItâs true? Toge says that shit all the time, how he can âstill hear wedding bellsâ when you two are around. Oh, Iâm going to be sick.â
âWait, youâre married?â Yuuji quips, âSince when? You should have told me, I would have gotten you a present!â
âOkay, okayâenough!â you yell, taking a step back, âItâs⊠true, but itâs not what you think. Yuuta and I are legally married, but weâre not together together.â
Nobara reaches to flick you on the forehead, âWhat the hell does that mean?âÂ
âIt means, weâre married on paper only,â you explain, strategically placing your knife in the sink, far out of Maki and Nobaraâs reach.Â
âSay more words,â Maki demands, âNow.âÂ
You sigh. Even Yuuji has paused his preparations, blinking at you with those big, wide eyes, and you know for sure thereâs no way out of this now.Â
âIt happened four years ago. Iââ
Despite being the one who asked you to say more, Maki is the first to cut you off, incredulous, âFour years? Youâve been married to that beanstalk for four years and neither one of you twigs thought to mention it?âÂ
âMaki, let her finish,â Yuuji pitches in for you, reaching a comforting hand out to your shoulder, âMaybe she was dying and needed Okkotsu-senpai to sign her insurance papers so the government didnât sweep her away! I saw that in a K-Drama once,â he smiles proudly. Nobara pinches her face in disgust, immediately refuting and calling Yuuji an idiot for believing everything he sees on TV.Â
âHonestly, thatâs not too far off. Iâm not dyingâand neither is Yuuta,â you hastily correct the worried faces peering at you, âBut he was sick as a kid, and long story short is something got fucked up with his insurance when his parents died. It wasnât a big deal, at first, but it spiraled into a bunch of issues, the biggest being the threat of taking his parentsâ house away from him.â
Nobara pulls back, crossing her arms. âWhy didnât Gojo just do something then? That idiot has more than enough money to spare for some petty hospital bill, even with twenty years of interest.âÂ
âHe did,â you assure her, âBut then the house became its own problem. His parents didnât leave the deed in his name, and the community board tried to say that Yuuta had no assets and wasnât a favored candidate for their neighborhood, even if he was their son.âÂ
âThatâs bullshit,â Maki interjects.Â
âYeah, totally not fair,â Yuuji pouts, âThatâs his dead parentsâ house and they wanted him to prove himself?âÂ
âPretty much,â you sigh, âBasically marriage is something that helped prove his eligibility⊠plus some doctored philanthropic donations on Gojoâs end, and letters of recommendation from Shoko and her co-workers.âÂ
Nobara tuts her bottom lip out. âI donât know, Iâm not buying it.âÂ
âNo, it makes sense. Iâm sure by now all his parentsâ neighbors are a bunch of uptight, old heads who didnât want some kid throwing parties nearby,â Maki argues, âBut once they hear heâs a young, married, nurse with a side hustle in philanthropy, Iâm sure those geezers welcomed him with open arms. Sounds like some shit my family would do, too.âÂ
Nobara hums, factoring in Makiâs evaluation. âOkay fine. Yuuta marries you, he gets his parentsâ house back and probably commits insurance fraud too,â she settles, âBut what about you?âYou said this was mutually beneficial, so what did you get out of it?âÂ
You probably should talk to Yuuta about revealing all the details of your marriage to your friends, but you knew it was bound to happen sooner or later. Yuutaâs parentsâ death and the issues that came along with it werenât a secret at the time, but your problems are something you kept private. Itâs a miracle youâve gone this long under the radar, and you know Nobara isnât going anywhere with unanswered questions.Â
âPermanent residency status,â you tell her, âYuutaâs a citizen, so in marrying him, all my problems about finding a job in six weeks after graduation disappeared.âÂ
âBut⊠you got a job?â Yuuji questions, head tilted.Â
âYeah, eventually, but I didnât know I would, and it was either take that chance, or be forced to go back home, and my time was running out,â you reveal, twiddling your thumbs together, âLook, I would have said something at the time, but everyone had their own shit to deal with after graduation. I would have asked any one of you to marry me, but I knew Yuuta was the only one with a reason to say yes.âÂ
The kitchen falls quiet as the news sits with your friends. Nobara and Makiâs stern disbelief slowly morphs into empathy, and Yuujiâs bright eyes grow steely with concentration as he pieces your story together.Â
Then he springs up, âWait, I totally would have married you, senpai!âÂ
You laugh, a lightness easing its way back into the room. âThanks, Yuuji,â you lean to give him a kiss on the cheek, but youâre met with Nobaraâs outstretched palm instead.Â
âNuh-uh. Just because I think this marriage is insane doesnât mean that I condone adultery.âÂ
âItâs not adultery. I told you, Yuuta and I are married on paper onlyâheâs free to date and kiss whomever he pleases, and so am I,â You roll your eyes, pushing her hand away and giving Yuuji a kiss anyway, which he happily accepts, sticking his tongue out in mockery at Nobara.
Maki scoffs, âAre we sure that Yuuta knows that?âÂ
âOf course he knows that.â
âSo then why hasnât he dated anyone?â Maki presses, eyes lowering into a teasing glare.Â
âI donât know,â you shrug, âWho Yuuta does or doesnât date isnât really my business.âÂ
Nobara pulls at her hair, âYes it is. Youâre his wife.âÂ
âHis contractual wife,â you correct.Â
âContractual?âÂ
âWaitâhave Yuuta and Toge not totally kissed on several drunk, or am I the only one who saw that?â Yuuji interjects.
âNo, that was you and Fushiguro,â Nobara says, âAnd nobody cares about you two right now.âÂ
You put a hand on Yuujiâs shoulder, âI care about you, Yuuji. Please, tell us about your drunk escapades with our dear Megumi.âÂ
âSave it, Itadori,â Maki cuts in, crushing Yuujiâs bright demeanor, âYou and Yuuta are way more pathetic. Keep talking.âÂ
âSince when do you even like to gossip?âÂ
âSince she met me,â Nobara gleams, proudly, âNow, keep going.âÂ
You give Yuuji an apologetic glance before continuing, âI just mean that by the end of this year, Yuuta and I can get amicably divorced without raising any suspicion. Our marriage canât be contested as a sham, Iâll be eligible for citizenship and housing on my own, and all will be well.âÂ
Itâs quiet again, for a moment. You bite your lip in anticipation. Ultimately, you knew that none of your friends would judge you and Yuuta for what you did, but it wasnât exactly normal to marry your friends for legal benefits, and then hide your marital status from almost everyone you knew. Still, this conversation was going about as well as it could, until Maki starts laughing.Â
Her laughter starts off quiet, then grows gradually, until it becomes concerning. You donât think youâve ever seen Maki actually laugh beforeâa few amused grunts, and occasional drunk giggles, yes, but full-on, blown laughter is a first. Itâs scary, and as you glance at Nobara and Yuuji, youâre clearly not the only one worried.Â
âYou actually believe that he doesnât feel anything for youâthatâs rich,â she says through laughter, clutching her stomach, âGod help you if you think you can just divorce him. You two are so fucked, you deserve each other.â
âWait, speaking of rich, did you sign a prenup? Isnât Yuuta totally loaded now that heâs a nurse and related to GojoâI also donât think that youâll be able to divorce him that easily, but if you kill him, you could be an instant millionaire,â Nobara reasons.Â
âThatâs so shallow!â Yuuji exclaims, âAlso, Iâm a nurse, and I wouldnât say Iâm loaded.âÂ
âThatâs because youâre not cute like Yuuta,â Nobara mocks, âIf you were, then youâd make the big bucks.âÂ
âIâm cute!â Yuuji cries, turning to you, âIâm cute, right?âÂ
You reach to pat his head, âYes, Yuuji, youâre very cute. And perfectly well off enough. Yuuta works inhumane hours for his money, donât be like him.âÂ
âItadori, you make, like, quadruple what the average person makes,â Maki reminds him, âYou just spend it all just as quickly.âÂ
Nobara scoffs, âWhich he can afford to do because heâs a nepotism baby.âÂ
âYou just said I was poor and ugly, and now Iâm a nepotism baby? Pick a story, Kugisaki!â
âI donât have to pick shit. Nanami-san sponsors your entire life, and enables your bad spending habits,â she huffs, âYuutaâs a nepotism nurse, too. In fact, you both make me sick.âÂ
âOkay, then by that logic Fushiguro is also a nepotism baby!â
âWell, duh. Heâs, like, the poster child for nepotism babies all around the world.âÂ
You drown out Nobara and Yuujiâs argument, mulling over Makiâs words instead. Did she mean to imply that Yuuta would make your divorce difficult on purpose?âyou donât see why; Yuuta doesnât have a malicious bone in his body, and it wouldnât serve him any purpose. You didnât sign a prenup, but you would never argue ownership over any of his assets, and you know that Yuuta knows that; heâd already given you so much, you would never try to take anything from him.Â
In fact, getting divorced would only open more doors for him. You donât know if Yuuta hasnât dated in the past four years out of some lingering loyalty to your marriage, but if that was the case, then you donât want to stand in his way for any longer than necessary, and you especially donât want him to grow to resent you for it. He would no longer be unnecessarily bound to you; heâd be free, legally, to carry on with his lifeâyou would be the only one indebted to him for his boundless kindness.Â
Truthfully, you hadnât thought much of your divorce throughout your marriage. You knew that after five years, you could get divorced without consequence, but you hadnât pictured how that would go. The thought of it somehow messing with your relationship to Yuuta, and your mutual friendships makes your head hurt. Maybe you should have married Yuuji instead.Â
âAre you kidding, Yuuta would have mauled him,â Nobara chuckles, âPlus he would have lost his childhood home.â You blink. Guess you said that last part out loud.Â
Her words spark more bickering between her and Itadori, and this time you turn to Maki. It was evident that she was just as much in the dark as anybody else about your secret marriage, but, still, it seemed like she knew something that you didnât.Â
âMaki, does... you said I think that Yuuta doesnât feel anythingâthen what does he feel?âÂ
Maki blinks, then shakes her head, âYou clearly donât know who you married. Thatâs for you and your husband to work out.â She continues, this time that same wicked laughter is back, âJust know that whatever your plan for divorce was, itâs not going to be that easy. Yuuta is stupid, clearly, but heâs not that dumb. At least, I hope not.âÂ
You pout, shoulders slumping. That was about the most cryptic and least comforting response a person could give, but you shouldnât have expected more from Maki. Luckily, Yuuji moves to give your shoulders a comforting rub, forgoing Nobaraâs exclamations of him being a homewrecking harlot.Â
At this point, you canât tell if their arguing or your overthinking is causing your headache. Maybe you should cancel this group dinner all together; thereâs no way you and Yuuta wonât be the topic of conversation all night, and youâre not exactly looking forward to pairing Makiâs mystic messages with Togeâs public humiliation, unless you start consuming liquor now.Â
Deciding thatâs the best plan of action, you turn to your cupboards to reach for a bottle of wine, pawning off popping the cork to Maki when your phone buzzes, catching your attention.Â
Itâs a text from Yuuta, similar to one youâve received on this day every day, for the past four years, with something a little extra tacked on this year.Â

+ ripverse: not really a series, more like a compilation of fics! it's got a lot of angst and the one titled 'interlude' contains smut i think so beware, and it's also a lovetriangle/poly-but-geto-goes-crazy-so-not-poly moment // 55k words, 8 pieces
+ the witches' brew: super cute fluff! reader owns a cafe, gojo is a regular, it's all around adorable // 2 chapters, 11k words, completed

+ heart beats: another collection! i looove gojo in this so so cute i also adore bff nanami in the last one haha // 11k words, 3 pieces
+ exposure therapy: this is 1/2 of a 2 piece collection. when i read this for the first time i was floored- i love the creative take, and the reader's character (it was a 'she's so me' moment). this author writes with such a subtle but unadulterated take on love and i adore it // 5k words
+ how to be a human being: 2/2 of the previous rec and the perfect continuation in every sense of the term. oh my gosh, is this masterful- from the relationships & writing of megumi and tsumiki to gojo (i almost forgot this was a rec for him) it's all around amazing // 20k words
+ the sanctity of a name: SO SENTIMENTAL !! what an adorable work that rly goes into the psychology and significance of his technique + upbringing. so real and raw and very him // 2k words, complete, 1 chapter
+ assumptions: omf jealous gojo...... he's so cute in this!! you guys are married and it's almost his birthday, but while you're planning his surprise party he suspects something else.. // 6k words, 1 chapter, complete
