it's been forever since i did draw something, but these two (living rentfree in my mind) rlly get me creative. it's a bit messy, but then again, so is this pairing haha

Particles ≠ black slime

It haunts me since x amount of days, that the ‘exorcism’ of the mind flayer on everyone (Will + the kids) occurred through the release of the black (air?) particles leaving they bodies.

Then again, in the death scene of Vecna/Henry, there is this visual of black fluid leaving his body/mouth and him coughing out and choking black, thick fluid. So gross. But thrilling, to think about it!

Means (figurative), that their (Henry+mf) connection got more ‘consistence’, more profound, not airy after all, but a solid symbiosis. It’s such an interesting depiction tbh!

Idk, but I imagine it as the him trying to get out the mf (like coughing up gross slime, hah im sorry). Not sure if it’s something people are discussing, but it’s such an important detail to me. Sooo in the end, he didn’t manage to break the connection, yet it’s the effort tho to redeem his ass (Maybe?? If so, I’m crying, Henry pls pls)

This weirdass scene makes for a great AU

still not sure where the sudden occultism stems from lore-wise (did i miss something?), but i was todays years old when I finally understood the implications of that random séance scene in the mindscape

(so that's why they did choose this depiction for moving dimensions![?])

not sure if people are already discussing/writing this, but the whole ‘vessel for the mind flayer’ could be pretty sweet for crafting an mediumship au (gothic William, where are you?? haha)

(and does that mean that the mind flayer is not so much mind after all but rather ghost or [even better: Hegelian absolute] spirit lore-wise? aah i'm excited) (anyhow this is def. going into pt.2 of critical haha)
