Greetings! I have finished a third full body:
And I will be honest, I kind of hate it, but that's okay! I started out happy with it and grew to dislike it (seeing things are out of proportion, disliking design aspects, etc), amd even though it does feel bad, that also means I improved my understanding throughout the process, especially by taking time to think about what I disliked specifically and how to amend it next time rather than scrapping the piece entirely.
I think the necks the big thing that set things awry, the base of it is kind of distended out and rather wierd, and it also impacts the width of the main body too, along with affecting heading proportions, etc. And I have some other nitpicks I could list (the hands lol) that I intend to fix in the future, but that's the big one at the moment
Another big factor to think about is that alot of people might not notice anything wrong (or maybe they will, who knows lmao), but due to looking at it for so long, I'm bound to notice alot of stuff that might not be as big a deal to others.
Moral of the story, be kind to yourself, don't give up even if you feel terrible at something. Alot of times, you probably aren't as bad as you think, and if you notice something wrong you know what to do better the next time. Also, if you feel good about your creations, excellent! Art is meant for your enjoyment, if you're having fun with it that's amazing and keep doing what you love!
Anyways, hope all yalls have a great day/night/midday/dawn/dusk!
