season 5 shouldnāt have been about holly going missing. it shouldāve focused on the relationship between will and vecna. the show started with will. vecna only got as far as he did because of the abuse he afflicted on him. we shouldāve seen vecna worm his way into mikeās mind and will freaking out saying heāll give vecna whatever he wants as long he leaves mike alone. we shouldāve seen will fight the two wolves within him: will byers vs the accomplice of the mindflayerās destruction. iām sorry but i donāt care about holly?? also, i donāt think they shouldāve made it where thereās this wormhole that was going to crash into the world and end it. what i loved about stranger things is that the scary shit was happening within hawkins. why all of a sudden we having a thanos moment where the whole world will be affected? also vecna was just inactive for over a year? and youāre telling me he had NO idea where max was that entire time? okay sure, the licorice man who can invade minds and has a tie to will had 0 idea max was at the hospital š¤£ā¦ and what happened to the 80ās feel?? THEN they didnāt want to add demogorgons in the fight scene when demos have been the face of the monster the kids have been fighting against and thatās literally the mindflayerās soldiers!! also vecna attacks the most vulnerable so WHERE WAS MIKE WHEELERāS POSSESSION SCENE?? WHERE WAS HIS EMOTIONAL AND MENTAL BREAKDOWN?? we needed more exploration and expansion of the role will played in everything. we shouldāve gotten byler!! consistency in that damn show was being held by byler endgame. once they decided to not do byler endgame, everything else started to feel hallow.
