So, in conclusion, do NOT fill your stomach with water when you think you have food poisoning. I instinctively kept trying to compulsively swallow back my sick; but obviously my stomach didn’t want any of it inside of me. This felt mad gross while it was happening, but I did feel better after I got it out. :)

woke up nauseous and shivering… puked up dinner. i feel so much better now thank godddd

it burned so bad coming up and it tasted even worse 😭 had beef soup for dinner so all i could taste was bile and meat grease. not a good combo

I'm going to start uploading more of these.

This was from a couple nights ago. I had eaten a double quarter pounder with cheese and a large fry and large coke a few hours prior, and it wasn't sitting well. Surprisingly there was a lot more in my stomach than I thought and had at least 7 solid gushes. Feeling my belly squeeze while.this was coming up was amazing. No fingers needed.

So I think I overate and I decided to drink a couple glasses of water to help the miserable feeling get over with already.

Thinking about the progression of illness showing in what position they take to vomit

The first time they start feeling sick, they stand in front of the toilet with their hands on their knees to gag over the bowl. They puke a little and spit and think that might be it.

Not long after, the nausea comes back, stronger. They go back to the bathroom and bend over the toilet again, gagging. Then a strong retch makes them stagger and grip the back of the toilet. Still standing, but holding on for balance, they sick up another stream of puke. The wave passes but this time they know they aren't done.

On the third bout, they initially try to stay standing, but quickly double over with a violent heave, followed by a thick wave of vomit that brings them to their knees. Now kneeling on the floor with their head over the bowl, smelling the bleach and acid, gagging and gagging.

On the fourth bout, they go straight to their knees in front of the toilet, gripping the cold bowl, too sick to care anymore about how disgusting it is. Resting their forehead on their arm while they cough and gag and vomit again. Laying on the floor afterwards because there's no point even leaving the bathroom this time.

The fifth bout, barely peeling themselves off the floor in time to get miserably sick into the toilet, vomit dripping over the side where they missed. Sitting sprawled on the floor, too weak to even get into kneeling position. Leaning their cheek against the porcelain, eyes closed while they retch and drool into the dirty water. Vomiting repeatedly, choking and vomiting again, struggling for air. Too dizzy to move, they stay in this position, breathing shallowly and just waiting for the next round of puking to start.

headcanon which is canon bc im the artist i make the rules is that the guy on the left woke up in the middle of the night, shaking and sweating after tending to the right guys fever feeling worse than ever. soo he goes to take his temp (39.4), which although is significantly higher than the guy on the right (im deciding hes at 38.8), left guy is still too worried about right guy to prioritize himself

hence why he is shivering despite wearing thicker clothes but the other guy is not. but hes only looking at right guy dont gaf about himself.

but then when the right guy wakes up hes gonna freak out and try to take care of left guy and overexert himself, raising his fever and symptoms 😇

When A is woken up in the middle of the night and at first they’re not sure why. They rub their eyes and look around blearily; all looks in order. But damn they’re hot. And as soon as that thought appears, they realize with a start it’s coming from next to them - and they look down in horror at B, laying curled into their side. B is absolutely radiating heat - so much so that A is sweaty just from being pressed against them, though no where near as drenched as B. B is shaking and whimpering pathetically, and looks pale even in the low light of the moon, with bright red spots high on their cheeks. A realizes they must not have been feeling well for a while and not mentioned anything, because with a fever like this there’s no way B didn’t go to bed feeling terribly unwell. And A hadn’t noticed.

A tries to wake B up gently, knowing they need to take their temperature and get them some water and meds, but after a few gentle hair strokes and rubbing of B’s arm, they realize B isn’t rousing at all. And if anything their face seems more pained and frightened than it had a minute ago. A starts getting frantic, shaking B harder and calling their name in a panic. They see B’s eyes flutter beneath the lids briefly, then stop as their head lolled even more towards the bed. A’s stomach drops when they realize their aren’t able to rouse B at all. Uh oh.
