NO ONE comes to visit him not even his parents

there's no mention of his abscence except that the library is "closed due to lack of volunteers"

Berdly isn't even that annoying people were just told he was in universe and now that's his defining character trait in people's minds. Not the fact that despite being failed by every single adult around him he still genuinely values his friendship with noelle and is willing to put himself in genuine danger for his friends. Focus on the fact that despite how flawed he is and how much of a bad hand he got he still genuinely tries and is a good person in his heart? "Nah, he's just annoying. " It's genuinely frustrating

Noelle saying "you've always been nice when it's just the two of us" in ch2 is a line we've slept on so much tbh. Berdly being less obnoxious while it's just him and Noelle isn't something I've seen a lot of people work with but it's a detail I like a lot. Not to mention that Berdly implies he and Noelle were friends who studied together even before Berdly got obsessed with being smarter than everyone. Despite everything they genuinely like each other as friends, they're just messy about it. And I respect that

They were playing Valorant in the original audio so I guess that's what they were playing.

As soon as I heard the audio I knew I had to do this. Finished this in like 3 hours so it's not perfect but I'm satisfied with the result <3

Something I wish deltarune analyzers in general but ESPECIALLY ones that focus on berdly understood, is that there is a very big difference between misogyny being so prevalent in media geared towards young lonely boys that you subconsciously pick up on those habits without being aware of it.....and actually being misogynistic. Is it apt to say Berdly subconsciously has learned some misogynistic tendencies due to the media and lack of good parental influence? Yes. Is it apt to say Berdly IS misogynistic? I really think the Deltarune fanbase has their notes mixed up regarding Noelle's relationships with others because what do you mean Spamton is the weird yet well meaning one that simply wants to do something nice for the one person to pay attention to him even if he doesn't quite know the right way to show it, and what do you mean Berdly is the entitled creep who only exploits her skills for his own benefit without any regard for her autonomy therefore he deserves to die alone in the cold.

Susie and Berdly being friends with each other is sooo important to me okay. They both have developmental/cognitive disabilities and the fact that Susie was willing to reassure him that he doesn’t NEED to be smart to have value even after he projected all that shit onto her is so nice. No wonder he immediately absolutely adored her. But also he was so excited to have someone actually be NICE to him and share his interests that he immediately “got a crush” on her oh my god he needs friends!!! Both Susie and Berdly are former bullies in different ways. Berdly also idolizing Susie as a cool gamer girl that he definitelyyy has a crush on is trans girl gender envy behavior I’m sorry.
