:O How long would it take them on average to dye their hair? Do they have a paticular process?

I THOUGHT I QUEUED THIS DAYS AGO  FORGIVE. BUT  Hati uses those bright semi permanent dyes like manic panic for example... or well even koolaid if he’s feeling particularly frugal.  There’s not much to it he just sits down in the bathroom and ruins towels combing that stuff in his tail.

 Oh my god, its’ been months since i logged in. Tumblr’s mass reset password thing when you have several blogs is more of a chore and a mess of what password for what account now?? I have no excuse for not posting anything  when i have been drawing and pondering a lot lately. tbh I’m  still just an awkward okapi when it comes to sharing and crossposting.  I feel embarrassed doing so. (kick me).  I did start up an art twitter for those interested but i’m just not sure... what direction I want for this blog. I love all these character interactions  and ideas but aaa i’m better talking and throwing headcanons since my time and writing have been elsewhere. I’m sorry. askjndkndg

1.4.  Why be moral?

This got so wordy im sorry_(:,3 」∠)_

As beloved  as Niamh can be within the confines of her city, she often receives criticism from foreign  dignitaries and press for her views and history.On the subject of murder, its generally accepted that it is an unjust, malice action that should not be preformed. But why not? 

Somewhere in the list of reasons against the action is a command that turns it into an obligation. One simply does not not preform the action based on moral facts. To understand and be aware of these ethical, illogical obligations and values and able to easily disassociate with them is something even Niamh admits can be concerning to dwell on in introspection . Its taken more than a century to figure herself out and with how easily she can cast aside such morals, its obvious why opinions on her can vary to such great lengths. Between unabashed judgement and  logical assessment , her ethics are always brought up. It may come as barbaric however --to her-- the view can be necessary, even if outdated. 

What would be progress without the systematic removal of the inhibitor? Niamh did not inherit her position as ‘Queen’ (even that’s a misnomer)  but took and made it so with methods  now questionable in the modern era. Once again we’re back to Niamh’s personal notion of truth whereas ‘truth’ and morality are subjective. When there is no correct path to choose, rather than going blindly without criteria, she get options and looks over outcomes to make it the right choice and follow through-- be it over policies, trade, personal life or the elimination of an unfit party in power. That makes for a dangerous political individual.  Tensions rise and fall. Her patience to set things straight and understand far outweighs her mercy and keeps her people, territories and settlements safe.  She continues to be neutral, doing her best.  Truth in that sense is acknowledging herself and owning up to those self-defining choices. A reason Niamh cannot accept being a symbol of truth is her inward denial at certain facets of her being. Ironically, being inauthentic is living a lie.

I feel like I should note Margra doesn’t have the hospitality to let people in the citystate let alone enough to host parties. Holidays or not.

1.1 Life is a competition and I must win 

Speaking of Christmas, Yes, Margra really is the type to want to be in charge of decorating for the holidays at work but it also extends to her own home. Maddy lives ...modestly... with the most lights up on the street. Or tries to be. She and her neighbor down the road have regular passive aggressive pissing matches  to have the best decorations and nicest lights.

You’d think that being in charge of the city-state’s armed and police forces, she’d know that you can’t spell  “fuck you pearlburg” on the front of your house, but yanno... its Margra and was probably worth the citation that year

1.3. Birthday

Pretty much too Capricorn for her own good, Niamh’s birthday falls on the lovely December 25th. You might pity her  with the whole birthday/Christmas combined gifts thing but honestly, she barely cares for either, nor celebrates them actively or religiously but more to that later, (Margra, meanwhile, decorates her office.). Its just another day to Niamh and business will be business. She rarely shares her birthday unless necessary, and the last thing she’d want is to get an embarrassing amount of gifts from the public.  Buuutt the public is free to celebrate and getting gifts is bound to happen. Since  Niamh’s default face tends to be variants of “ :-| “ (which not something to do while opening presents in front of others) she discourages it.  She’s still gratuitous and displays gifts around her office and home, even if they tend to just be pretty ornate weapons.

Most years, the 25th is a good day to nap.

some pokedoges ideas for Niamh  + one dadcat to rule them all. (they’re totally a dog ) -Bailey The Houndour is super faithful and sweet but loves rolling around in the dirt -O-Dogg  the Umbreon is a happy girl but loves sticking her nose into whatever you’re doing.  -Benny the Granbull can double as a couch and his slobber makes for great hair gel. Retired Show dog. -Craug the Manectric is that asshole that jumps on the other side of the bed and takes up all the space.
