I’ve been pondering this today and I think something is getting missed in all of this “I love you” discussion. And Ray Palmer discussion.
The point of this season isn’t about Oliver deciding if he loves Felicity. The point of this season isn’t about Felicity deciding if she loves Oliver. For Oliver, that was his S2 journey. S2 was all about Oliver falling in love with Felicity. And Felicity…well…quite frankly she’s been in love with Oliver since day 1. Now, the words are important. I’m not going to deny that. It’s important for Oliver to say he loves Felicity and he did. It’s important for Felicity to say she loves Oliver and she will. But that’s not what the CHOICE is this season.
