Something that I've noticed about this whole drama, is that seeing how the community can come together. You always hear about "strength in numbers" but I never really believed it until I've been seeing it in action over these last few days.
It's... Amazing.
Players supporting each other, helping each other, learning more about each other, hell even people switching sides and now coming over to add their voices.
I just love that the vibe I'm getting is "Hear our voices." and "Goodness prevails."
The haters tried so many underhanded tactics to undermine everything we cared about for this game, and yet the surge pushing back is handling it with care, grace and compassion. True wolf nobility if ever I saw it, proud, strong and strength in numbers.

sorry i fell in love with Zayne seeing him in the dark shadow for 1 second before it jumped to Rafayel and Xavier in the initial trailers, and after that he lingered in my brain until his next clear ad appearance which was him sucking at the claw machine in a Japanese youtuber's sponsor ad so i installed the game immediately and spent the night until like 2 am breezing through the game. guess i'm a whore for liking a guy i knew nothing about. 🙄
Rafayel - When I was first learning the game, I did a quiz to see what LI would best suit me, and the answer was Rafayel. He reminded me of other anime characters I liked from before (Tamaki, Yato...) so I put him for the beginner banner. I got Your Fragrance in the first 20 pulls so it intrigued me more to him.
Zayne - I've known since the beginning that I would eventually fall for him. The question was when. It was steady but I eventually started to go after him when the kitty banner came out. His cat form was my favourite 🥺 and I got his card and his outfit.
Sylus - Sylus my love 🥺 Ironically, I didn't like him from the beginning 💀. My first impression was he was some punk jerk. The first card I got was Nightplumes from standard, and it started to warm me up to him. But seeing him in the grasslands, hugging Mc, carrying her and saying "I have to show them I already have a lover", I was sold. I got his grasslands card, then he bombarded me with more of his cards and I haven't been the same ever since.
And that's the part that's making me lose my fucking mind.
We lost an entire section of the MAIN STORY.
The livestream literally told us Valko's release was going to reveal more about the Aethercore—one of the biggest mysteries in Love and Deepspace and something that's been central to the plot from the very beginning.
So now what?
You think they can just delete him and nothing changes?
Do people genuinely think you can rip out an entire story arc without consequences?
Everything that was supposed to be revealed through Valko now has to be rewritten, redistributed, or outright cut. The main story is going to have to be retconned. Future updates are going to have to be reworked. Characters may have to be rewritten just to fill the gap he leaves.
If you're celebrating this because you "won," I sincerely hope you understand what you've actually cheered for.

Because I just want to gush about the EN VA now 😭 Holy hell he delivered 😭😭 I'll go over more in general about Rafayel's character and then go into more about Rippling Blossoms under the cut.
I don't know much about voice acting, so maybe I'm really off with my perception, but I think Rafayel is quite difficult character to pull off. He has quite frequent mood/tone shifts, which never are too exaggerated, like he always has a small bit of unseriousness to him, but he's not a comical character.
So the actor always has to balance between a tiny bit of unserious tone to Rafayel's moods, while never being too ridiculous. When Rafayel is in this unserious state, every emotion he has isn't too intense and has a bit of "acting out" flair to it, for example when he is pouty or teasing, he's never fully upset or being mean, far from it. But if he's not in this unserious state, he's very intense, yet controlled. There is always some level of control in Rafayel's moods even if he is all over with his emotions and feels very intensely, as if there's something unreachable about him that he keeps away. All this makes it very easy to act Rafayel in a way that makes him too comical or too flat.
This is why I think why the EN VA is very brilliant, because I really feel like he fully understands this and knows what to do to fully immerse us into Rafayel's mindset and the moment. I don't get a feeling he's showing up, giving a performance to flaunt his acting and vocal abilities, he's there to tell a story and captivate everyone into it.
I think Rippling Blossoms is very beautiful example of his talents, because the VA absolutely nailed Rafayel's tone in the entire memory. The first half Rafayel was very relaxed and happy, quite honored that MC actually wanted to find the flower he used for the paint. He wasn't too concerned about actually finding the flower, he just was happy to be there. This is where his unserious side shines, he's not too intense, but clearly happy and relaxed.
But from the moment the paint is ready, his tone changes completely. The VA starts slowly blurring those lines between being unserious and intense, going from Rafayel being just lightly teasing into very intense and eventually, consumed with lust. It really highlights how Rafayel's mood changes as the day goes on, and how intense he can get if he loses a bit of that control of those emotions he keeps out of reach.
I could go on how attractive his voice is to me, but I'm just really impressed how naturally the intensity in his voice progresses and makes it clear how desperate Rafayel gets the longer it goes on. I can imagine getting comfortable with that kind of intimacy in voice acting isn't easy, which makes it even all the more impressive.
Of course I can't tell what another person is really thinking or feeling about certain things, it's just my reading based on how I feel about their performance. Either way, I just really enjoy his performance and talent, regardless if I'm way off with everything else I just said 🫣 Some lines are living rent free in my head now 🥰🫠🫠

“sleepy… bye…” you yawned and got comfy, rubbing your cheek against his thighs before finally settling in, closing your eyes and falling asleep in a matter of seconds.
his expression softened immediately, and he carefully placed the bowl away.
he wanted to caress your face, but his hands were stained with mandarin juice and he wouldn't dare taint your precious skin.
instead, he leaned down and placed a soft kiss on your cheek, staying as still as he could so as not to disturb your sleep.
he loved how comfortable you were around him to simply claim his lap, trusting he would let you without a doubt.
with the citric aroma surrounding both of you, and your soft snores echoing, he laid back and closed his eyes.
his legs were starting to feel numb, but it didn't matter.

he wouldn't lie, he felt a bit offended you didn't wait for him to find the video, but he also knew you guys ate quite a lot during lunch, and your bodies needed a nap.
so, without further ado, he got as comfy as one could get with someone resting on their lap, placed a cushion on his lower back for better support, and closed his pretty eyes.
his hand crept down until it found your cheek, and there it stayed, his thumb gently tracing your warm skin, since he couldn't possibly sleep without feeling you as close as possible.

he knew you would feel disappointed and even mortified when you finally woke up and realized you lost precious time with him.
but he was more than happy to have you like this; trusting and at ease, so prettily asleep in what you considered to be the best, comfiest place ever.
