LRSummerfest week 7: "Opening the time capsule together"

AU where Kat makes it, they reunite annually and one day she finds the old time capsule and surprises the girls with it (didnt let nora sneak a peek)

LRSummerfest Week 5: "Nora's Sacrifice" (Fan Comic)

Imagine an ending where Nora sacrifices herself to the abyss so that Kat can get a 2nd chance in life.

it all starts with Nor misinterpreting lyrics to "Heart-shaped box" by Nirvana, sometimes she does it on purpose to troll Kat

In the final abyss showdown, Nora makes a wish and sings the same song incorrectly one last time.

She takes the plunge

and now she's gone

Autumn lost her best friend, Swann lost her video star and Kat lost her first love.

denial, depression, anger

acceptance, moving on and letting go

Every year, they return to Velvet Cove to visit an old friend.

Kat comes in earlier

she still remember Nora's favorite brand of cigarettes

(also yeah kat and autumn are sorta a thing in this comic, it's just theyre trying to make it work with their busy lives)

Lost Records - The Pool

The Bloom and Rage go to the pool (i know they have a private beach with fawn rest but i wanna try something new for a summer post)

meanwhile, Dylan starts her first day as a lifeguard at said pool- guess who shows up

the girls are enjoying themselves for a change, chilling and relaxing. Swann making a move and doesn't want to be noticed by dylan

Autumn and Kat have a swim, dylan attempts to guard their lives

bonus page: during her break, dylan took a nap so nora and kat decided to doodle on her face. Now she's looking for them, she's out for blood and they are hiding underwater

nora is absolutely terrified meanwhile kat is having her little "what are we?" moment

here's a family portrait

meet their kids, Ophelia "Never Phi Phi" and Cassie

-Kate is Ophelia's bio mom and Victoria is Cassie's

-Cassie belongs to @the-sword-lesbian , they are from the fanfic "One Step at a Time"

-They both drive their moms insane sometimes, in their own special ways

-Victoria is an art professor who specializes in Photography and Kate ended up being an accomplished illustrator with many kids books and graphic sapphic novels under her belt

-They both started out as freelancers until their first kid was born and that's when Vic chose to teach

-Vic inherited the stare from sinclair of course, she emulated her mothers demeanor at work but at home shes as bumbling/spoiling as her dad

-Chloe always showed up for their birth

-This is from the au where chloe and Victoria are step-sisters, so auntie Chloe is a thing and she comes over their house sometimes and eats victorias portions

-The kids look up a whole a lot to Chloe, especially Cassie

-Ophelia stayed up all night again watching Goosebumps... Victoria's tasked with waking the kids up and making breakfast n stuff

-When they were younger Cassie would literally draw on EVERYTHING but paper

-Auntie Rach and aunt Max are in the house, both Vic and Kate are still on good terms with their old Blackwell crew (Aunt Sweet-T, auntie Courtney, aunt Alyssa and aunt Stella)

-I decided to put Chloe in a polycule type of situation with Max and Rachel

-Sinclair dies around the time Victoria turns 40, I wanted to include a scene but I'm not in the best place to depict that rn (That's still my OC lol, plus Chloe loses another parental figure and Joyce loses another partner it's too much). I will revisit this au and expand onto that

Alright, down below is a vent art comic, I had a healthcare two months ago I had to do an ultrasound and I wanna vent about it

"Checkup" a fan comic

The ladies go to the hospital for their regular checkups

Nora's asked to undergo additional tests because there is a concern regarding an area in her breast.

this is reopening old wounds for kat, shes too anxious/worried to sleep so she calls her big sister

After the test:

They're all traumatized by the summer of 95

It wasn't all painful tho, in this AU Kat underwent chemo and Nora visited her everyday in the hospital (Her hair is short cuz they all cut it all off for Kat)

Kat survived but it was traumatizing

after the surgery:

Victoria chase picks up a 34 year old woman in the middle of the hallway wailing about her fave teacher

said fave teacher is recovering in the hospital playing Pokémon SoulSilver

Time for the May update!

-So basically the script and dialogue for the Stella encounter are done!

-Like the Dana encounter, the cat animation and values hadn't been implemented yet and I will get to it once I finish the Brooke encounter.

-The Stella subplot does have some sort of a twist, she's not as meek as she seems.

-If you were nice to her, you get a cameo from Hayden! He's a bit of a troll, likes to screw with Victoria over her crushes

Life is Strange - Runaway Victoria AU

-Max managed to save the town, chloe and rachel

-Jefferson and Nathan got exposed and sent to jail, the school and rachel are angry and are looking for a scapegoat

-enter Victoria who has the Kate video and the Rachel hate on her head

-A rumor about her involvement in the case spreads like wildfire, Sean Prescott takes advantage of that and pressures the Aradia Bay PD to implicate Victoria and take heat off his son

-Max is the only one who knows Victoria's innocent and tries to talk Rachel out of spreading the narrative of Victoria's involvement but is shut down

-Victoria was interrogated by the police without a lawyer where they spent hours shouting at her to confess

-Once she was returned back to the dorms, she walked out and never came back

bottom right: chloe was the one who found her almost a decade later, when she tried to stop her from running- she got socked in the face

-How Victoria got her scar; she was attacked and fought back with a screwdriver, she might've killed him nobody really knows but she stole his money

-Eventually, a decade later Max was at the Chase Space where she reconnected with Victoria's mother (Sinclair) whom has given her Victoria's old camera; Max found evidence that proves Victoria had an alibi when Kate and Rachel were drugged

-A guilty Rachel (Who's a lawyer now) uses all of her powers to clear Vic's name and she eventually succeeds

-After taking time to heal mentally, she eventually moves in with Kate, Rachel, Max and Chloe

-Victoria still goes through it (PTSD) and doesn't like to talk about what happened a lot but some stuff do trigger it back.

-Each girl has her own way of comforting her, special thanks to @theonlyvalerie for giving me the idea- honestly she did a lot for this feature, gave me the push to create it and all.

top left: Victoria reunites with Taylor and Courtney after almost a decade, everyone thought that she was dead

The April Update is here!

So far we have achieved the following:

-Basic exploration system for the Chapter. 2 Hallways and Victoria's bedroom (with extra dialogue from Taylor and Courtney)

-Gave them each special dialogue depending on player choices and how many nice points Victoria has

-Finished the basic script for the Dana encounter, alongside a minigame where you explore her room:

the minigame:

*basically you need to pick the right theme for her Halloween party

-You can skip the minigame by being mean/dismissive to Dana (which will land you in hot waters with Rachel or Max later) BUT will unlock the secret Taylor route:

-Currently I'm working on the Stella encounter, which will take me about two weeks

-After that I'll take another two weeks to finish the Brooke encounter

-It will take me the entirety of the month of June to polish chapter 2 and add the appropriate values, statements, extra dialogue animation and achievements

-Extra stuff I wanna add during the part.2 polishing phase:-

. Fix or improve sprites for the following characters: Victoria, Alyssa, Courtney, Taylor

. Add new music

. Color or improve graphics for certain cutscenes

. Fix grammar/spelling

one more thing! I snuck in a Lost Records: Bloom and Rage reference somewhere in the game:

also heads up, the love interest are gonna make their first dialogue-only appearance in this chapter!
