Blackwell Academy, a Life is Strange community server!

Hello again everyone! Thank you all so much for such an amazingly positive reception on the last post :)) I'm once again here to advertise the server and hopefully get some more of you to join!

For those who don't know, we're a relatively new Life is Strange server with a focus on fostering a welcoming and fun community for all Life is Strange fans. We host events, game nights, and even have a writing competition coming up soon!

We're now over 120 members strong, which is so crazy!! In the last week the community has grown into such an awesome and welcoming place, and I'm so happy we've managed to come this far. We'd love it if you checked us out!

We're also very open to feedback and suggestions. We wanna make sure the server is fun and safe for everyone involved.

My god the way you’re able to change their designs just enough to make the genderbend clear without over exaggerating anything is insane. Your character design always amazes me. Also their adult versions look so cute 😭😭😭 phoenix and auton both having beautiful long hair is sooooo so adorable. Also lmfao norm and his twink that clearly runs the relationship

Resident Evil 1 just released and they decided to give it a try (fyi i know resident evil came out way later than 1995 but suspend disbelief)

theyre assigned roles:

-autumn is the one on the controller cause shes the best gamer

-Kat helps out with the puzzles and stuff

​Hey LiS fandom! 

I present to you the major graphical update I've been working on over the past few months. Before starting on the final chapter, I wanted to iron out some kinks. I've been working on this project for over a year now, and as you might imagine, my art has improved along the way. Some of the assets I initially created didn't age the best, in my opinion. Some of it is still painful for me to look at tbh; some of the sprites don't have the best anatomy, and I'm saved by the fact that the text box takes up most of the characters' lower halves. 

After I finished the cutscenes, I also wanted to revamp some of the sprites. Still, I gave up because by this point, my art had changed a lot since I made those models. It will clash with the older ones. I just learned to accept my mistakes and move on cause I wanna finish this game by the end of this year, and this will stall me.  There are still some improvements to be made in the dialogue and audio. I'm currently working on that with the help of very talented people. 

I want to thank you all for your patience and love for the project! We managed to hit over 1k downloads for the main game and about 500 plays for the web demo! That is phenomenal, you all have exceeded my expectations for this project! I can only promise you that Chapter 3 will come out this year, and it's gonna be a loving send-off for this project.  I don't think my art would have improved that well without VortexVN and the love it got.

news, critics, and fans: the virality of this show speaks to what women truly want in a relationship: EQUALITY! these characters really work hard to earn their level playing ground, and it's so beautiful to see

I’m just an artist from the internet, unless we’ve been in the same server for some time and we talk in private

Other wise IM JUST A STRANGER TO YOU WHO POSTS ART OF CHARACTERS YOU LIKE

There were times in the fandom where people crossed my boundaries and I had to hold back cause I don’t wanna come off as “difficult” or have my words be misconstrued (esp as someone who ships a controversial couple)

And third thing, I’m allowed to like flawed characters as much as I like!

I love most of the grand theft auto protagonists who did some heinous unforgivable shit, at least safis motives make sense she’s not completely evil she’s mad as hell cause every person in her life failed her and maya (INCLUDING HER OWN MOTHER)

Also as a long time middle eastern lis fan, I appreciate safi for being a complex and complicated Arab character- I never thought I’d ever see something like this in this white as hell franchise
