Boys will be boys because eating junk food and playing in the dirt and general and all the stupid messy rambunctious fun that comes from being an innocent careful little boy is not some evil sex crime. I’m getting sick and tired of people treating little boys like potential rape monsters. Leave boys the fuck alone to be little boys.

My sister-in-law’s mother said it recently. Why? Because my 6 year old nephew likes playing at school by skidding along the grass as fast as they can, in their school uniform that has a white shirt…. She had two daughters who never did things like that but she knows that boys do.

Who shouldn’t be allowed to raise children are those that think that the term “boys will be boys” is somehow permissive of rape.

It tells you a lot more about their attitude towards boys than it tells you about the rest of society.
