very off-putting thinking about the millions of artists and creators from all around the world, many of whom only exist in any public capacity on twitter, and have existed there for many many years curating and cultivating a following and community for them and others who like their work, who will all most likely become senseless casualties of a profoundly troubled billionaire's boundless narcissism and bad politics.

even worse are all the people cheering on for the site to die. like, there is more to it than your average shitty person, american political discourse, and russian bots. the planet does not revolve around you or the things you hate.

just, feeling really shitty about all of this as the doomposting has picked up tonight.
