I've had this account blocked for so long. Yet they still go out of their way to view my posts, screenshot them, mock them publicly, and encourage other people to pile on. Imagine being so consumed by someone you've been blocked by that you still spend your time monitoring what they're say. If that isn't proving my point, I don't know what is.
What's especially ironic is that they're proving the point my original post made.
Instead of using canon to argue in discourse they morally shame women because that's the only thing they can do. And they did just that
My post existed because I'd watched people throw around labels like "misogynistic" or "anti-woman" simply because someone interpreted Elain differently, hated her or found her boring or didn't share their preferred ship.
Those words actually mean something, and using them as fandom weapons only cheapens them.
I see Gwyn being hated by them, her appearance mocked, her achievements and accomplishments downplayed, her getting villainized but do you see me gaf? Nope. Cause that's how they choose to engage with text and that's pathetic and to me their opinions don't matter.
Anti Gwyn, Nesta, Valkyrie, Mor, Feyre etc are fandom argument but elain? Yeah that becomes misogynistic...see how stupid that sounds
For the record, I do not support the "womb" argument. I find it disturbing, and I've said so before. So idek where that's coming from? Guess they just love to bully people.
And while we're talking about "agency," let's remember what these books actually do. In Book 1, Feyre wanted a future with Tamlin. She wanted to marry him. She absolutely did not want Rhysand. Would you have called someone who shipped Feysand at that point "anti-woman" because they didnt agree with the choice she was making then? Of course not. Exactly! And see how stupid their logic sounds...that's why I don't want to engage still I'm being dragged
And them using Gwyn's assault against her ships is Crazy..I will not dignify that with a response...if you're doing that.. then that tells me everything about you and you aren't worth even a second of my time.
I blocked you because I don't want to engage with a hateful person.
Please have the basic courtesy to respect that.
I'm here to enjoy my fandom, discuss the books, and have fun. If you're so invested in someone you've been blocked by that you're still monitoring their posts just to ridicule them, maybe ask yourself why you're spending so much energy on someone who clearly wants nothing to do with you.
