Spencer Reid in season 2
i feel like this is a dying art called 'being a good human being' anybody else agree. anybody
spencer’s relationship with his mom is actually a VERY sensitive topic for me
What’s that one post that’s like “people with mommy issues be like ‘she made a lot of mistakes that impacted me in very negative ways but she did the best she could with what she had and I understand that’ and people with daddy issues be like ‘I’d kill that guy’”? Yeah Spencer Reid is the embodiment of that
In the scene where Spencer Reid is at an NA meeting in season 3 or 4, I find it so sad/interesting how he says ‘I’ve really been… your literature uses the term ‘craving’.
Spencer dances around saying outright that he has been craving because he is so incredibly ashamed of his addiction that he cannot vocalise it. Choosing such a medicinal approach to NA shows just how much he wants to detach himself from his addiction. I think it also shows how he views the world and his trauma - always through an academic lens. He can’t make it personal because he learnt to bottle up his feelings and say what people wanted him to say after his parents divorce so that he wouldn’t get taken away from Diana. Ugh he’s so depressing
I don't play about baby reid.
He's so babygirl in the 1st season 🥺 I still can't get over this reid.
This season just reminds me of how pure and innocent he was before everything. His "awkward" and nerdy dump info rambles 😭 Oh, how I miss this version of him :(
i have seen WAY too many people acting like fitz asking keefe for a painting for sophie was like.. a shitty move even though ?? 1) we have no evidence suggesting that fitz knew keefe liked sophie too, 2) it’s actually very logical like if he’s not as great at art he’s obviously gonna ask his best friend who’s a good artist for help, 3) he and sophie were LITERALLY DATING ??
my shaylas
No because I think about that episode where Reid talks about seeing heaven but not knowing what to do with that information and Prentiss talking about seeing a black nothingness on a daily basis
BECAUSE THEY DONT READ

I didn't realize how important spencelle is to me before they were gone
sofitz but its sophie and fitz falling in love with the idea of each other instead of actually falling for eachother
