I have a request for a Dana one shot based on a conversation I had today. Reader is about seven months pregnant and in an established relationship with Dana but because of her body shape and generally being overweight everyone assumes she has just gained a bit of weight. She is sad about it and hates her body and wishes she had a proper baby bump. Dana worships her body and especially her belly.

“Hey gorgeous,” Dana says as you walk towards the nurses' station, a sad little pout on your face. She reaches her hand up to tuck a strand of your hair behind your ear, and you lean into her touch, sighing. “What’s wrong?”
“I wanna go home,” you sigh. “Havin’ a bad day.”
“Oh, sweetheart,” Dana sighs, running her thumb over your cheek. “We can go home soon, I promise.”
You had been with Dana Evans for nearly a decade, married for half of that time. She was the best thing that ever happened to you, and you’d do anything for her. She asked you on the first date if you wanted children, and you weren’t sure. She had grown-up kids, and that would’ve been fine for you, but Dana decided she wasn’t done being a mom. And that’s how you ended up like this, seven months pregnant, swollen and miserable. And not miserable because of her or the baby, of course not, but you hated your body and the changes it was going through.
You didn’t want to be at work anymore. Not today, not ever. Maternity leave couldn’t come soon enough, and all you wanted to do for the rest of the day was hide somewhere.
Dana touches your belly, and you pull away. “Don’t,” you say, far more harshly than you intended, and she frowns.
“Hey,” Cassie McKay says as she walks over. “Got a minute? I could use your help with something.”
You rub your head, nodding. “Yeah, sure. I’ll be right there.”
“Hey,” Dana says, grabbing your arm before you walk away, “are you okay?”
“Not really,” you mumble, trying not to cry. You yank your arm away and smile sadly, taking a shaky breath before following McKay, wishing the next few hours would just hurry up and be over.
You barely say a word to Dana on the ride home. She rests her hand on your thigh, and you don’t lace your fingers with hers like you usually do. When you walk into the apartment, you drop your bag, kick off your shoes and walk quietly to the couch.
“Okay, what the hell is goin’ on?” Dana asks eventually. “You’ve been off all day.”
“Nothin’,” you shrug, slumping on the couch.
“Sweetheart,” she says gently. “This is not nothin’.”
You sigh loudly as she sits on the couch in front of you. You feel your eyes filling with tears, and you sniff, looking away. “I hate my body, Dana.”
“What?” Dana asks, a deep frown forming between her brows. “Doll, your body is perfect.”
“You have to say that,” you grumble. “You’re my wife.”
“I don’t have to say shit,” Dana scoffs. “Hon, what happened?”
“Did you know that none of the doctors knew I was pregnant?” You mumble. “They all just thought I was fat.”
“That’s not true,” Dana sighs.
“No, it is,” you say. “I mentioned having a month left until I started maternity leave, and Santos looked me up and down and said, ‘Wait, you’re pregnant?!' and Javadi said, ‘Oh, that explains so much’.” You sigh, rubbing your belly. “I just want a normal body, Dana. I want a normal bump. A nice round one, one that makes people stop and gasp and ask if they can feel.”
“Sweetheart,” Dana replies in a gentle voice. “They’re just stupid residents who can’t tell their heads from their asses. Their opinions mean nothin’, and your body is fuckin’ perfect.”
“I hate it,” you sigh. “I should’ve lost weight before we got pregnant. I knew I would just look like a whale.”
“Right,” Dana says firmly. “Get your ass in that bedroom right now.”
“What?” you scoff. “No, I am not in the mood, Dana.”
“I don’t care,” Dana huffs. “Bedroom, now.”
You’re sad, a little bit pissed off, but the commanding way in which she speaks makes your breath hitch and your clit throb. You stand, still pouting as you look at her, and she smirks, shaking her head, watching you walk away from her. She watches the way your full hips and ass sway as you walk, and a predatory grin spreads across her face.
“Sit on the end of the bed,” she demands as she follows you. You sit down and watch her curiously as she drags the full-length mirror from the side of the room and leans it against the chest of drawers opposite the bed, forcing you to look at yourself. You roll your eyes, and she walks towards you, standing in front of you and blocking your view.
“It breaks my heart that you don’t see how beautiful you are,” she says, cupping your cheeks. “You know that I think you’re the most beautiful woman in the world, right? And I’m rarely wrong.”
You look up at her, and you can see the love and adoration in her eyes, but you still don’t feel beautiful. You haven’t for a long time. You used to smoke; that’s how you met Dana. Smoking together outside the ED before your first shift. Eventually, you decided to quit together. The gum was shit, but it helped Dana. The only thing that helped you was food. And the food was great at keeping the smoking urge at bay, but you had a very slow metabolism and packed on the pounds as soon as you even looked at a calorie. Dana claimed to like your new curves, but you didn’t always believe her.
She drags the hem of your scrub top up, and you lift your arms, allowing her to toss it aside. She drops to her knees, and you lift your hips so she can remove your pants, too. She carefully peels off your socks and tosses them towards the laundry hamper before sliding her hands up your belly.
“Look in the mirror,” she says, standing and climbing on the bed behind you. Her legs slide either side of yours, and she sits with her chest to your back, resting her chin on your shoulder. Her hands slide round your middle and across the swell of your belly, and your eyes lock with hers in the mirror.
“Look at you,” she grins, stroking your stomach. “There’s a baby in here, you know that, right? You’re not fat; you’re all swollen with my baby. It’s beautiful.”
“I don’t even look pregnant,” you scoff.
“Oh, but you do,” she says. “You’re glowing. Anyone who can’t see that is blind, baby girl.” Dana slides her hands over your bump and up to your breasts, squeezing them through the fabric. “Look at these, so full as they get ready to feed our baby.”
You whimper as she pinches your nipples, and you throw your head back. “Uh uh, keep lookin’ in that mirror.”
You whine, looking forward and watching as she unclasps your bra and tosses it aside. Your nipples are so big and dark, just another thing you hate. “I fucking love how your breasts have changed,” Dana says before you can think too negatively. She slides her hands over your full breasts again, and you watch in the mirror as her thumbs brush over both of your nipples. They harden, and she keeps rubbing until they are pebbles beneath her fingers. Dana’s mouth finds the side of your neck, and she kisses softly.
“I love how sensitive you are right now,” she whispers. “Look how wet you are. I can see it in the mirror. Spread your legs. Show me.”
You spread your legs further, breath hitching as you catch sight of the dark, wet patch between your legs. Your light lavender panties are turning deep purple at the crotch.
“I hated my body too, when I was pregnant,” she says, stroking your belly, and you huff in response. “Seriously, I did. It’s normal, baby. You have all these hormones coursing through your body right now; of course you’re going to be doubtful and in denial. But I promise you, you’re gorgeous.”
Her hand slides further down the bump. “You think I’d still be so attracted to you if you were gross and ugly?”
“I look like I’ve swallowed the old me,” you say. “I look like Princess Fiona.”
Dana laughs loudly, and it takes you by surprise, and unfortunately, it makes you laugh, too. Your belly wobbles, and the baby kicks in response.
“There’s someone else who loves your body,” Dana smirks, circling the spot where the baby is kicking hard. “They’re saying thank you, mommy, for keeping me safe.” She kisses your neck again. “You think you’re fat; we think you’re beautiful. Me and this little melon. This extra padding is keeping Melon extra safe and protected and warm in there, you know that, right?”
You nod shyly, and she grins, stroking down your bump. Her hand slides into your panties and you gasp, hips bucking, chasing friction. “Eyes on the mirror,” she whispers. “Need you to see yourself the way I do. See how beautiful you look when you’re being fucked,” Dana chuckles. “You’re the most gorgeous woman in the world, my love. Yeah?”
“Y-yeah,” you sigh, watching as she circles your clit.
“Good girl. You’re soaked, princess,” the older woman says as she slides two fingers through your folds and into you. She curls them upwards and pumps her wrist, and you fight the urge to throw your head back and moan. But you keep your eyes on yourself, watching the way your chest rises and falls with each pump of Dana’s fingers. You watch the way your mouth falls open, and you try to control it, but the pleasure overtakes your need to look cute right now, and you moan loudly into the room.
“You see how beautiful you are?” Dana asks, one hand pumping fast, the other hand still circling your belly. “You see that stunnin' body that I love so much?”
“Y-yes,” you moan. “Make me cum, baby. Please.”
“Not until you tell me you’re goin' to stop hatin' this perfect body so much,” she says. “Please, honey. I hate how hard you are on yourself.”
Your eyes fill with tears as you listen to the sincerity in her voice, and you nod frantically. “I promise. I promise, Dana. I’m sorry.”
“Don’t be sorry,” she whispers, kissing your neck. “Just do better, ‘kay?”
“Okay,” you whine as her thumb grazes your clit with each pump of her fingers, bringing you one step closer to a mind-blowing orgasm.
“Cum now, baby girl,” she whispers, kissing your neck again. “You’ve earned it.”
You throw your head back against her shoulder and close your eyes, rocking against her fingers, moaning loudly as you come undone. Your legs tremble, barely able to keep them open as Dana keeps working her digits. Your whole body shudders, and when she pulls her fingers out slowly, you turn into a puddle in her arms. She drags her wet fingers up the curve of your belly and taps gently, making the baby kick in response.
You watch her smile in the mirror, her whole face lighting up as she plays with the baby. “They’re going to be awake all night if you keep doing that,” you laugh, and Dana chuckles, smoothing her hand over the skin. “They already love you.”
“I already love them,” Dana says. “Our Melon.” She climbs off the bed, leaving you to support your own weight again, and she kneels on the floor between your legs. Dana places her palms flat against your belly and presses her lips to the skin. “Your body is perfect,” she repeats, punctuating each word with a kiss. “Perfect. Perfect. Perfect.”
You sigh, sliding your fingers through her blonde hair and smiling at her. “I love you, Dana. Thank you for loving me.”
“Honey, I’d rather die than go a second without lovin' you,” she says, kissing your belly again. And you believe every word that leaves those lips.
