Wow, well that’s a rude awakening. Nothing worse then lurking before coming off hiatus only to find you’ve been replaced by almost all your RP partners. Especially the ones you felt most fond of.

I was considering coming back 23 August, but you know what? What’s the point? My RP partners have very clearly moved on, and it’s not worth trying to fight for my spot in their lives again. I’m not gonna be able to look at my dash without feeling shitty and insignificant.

Peter will never totally leave my heart, but at this point he feels betrayed. It’s like coming back to his nursery window and seeing that he was replaced and the window is locked.

This blog is now officially archived. I didn’t want to have to do this. It hurts my heart, but it also hurts to see my dash anymore.

HIATUS NOTICE

formally going on hiatus here for the next few months. you could have guess my peter muse has been flighty, and my ooc life has been busy too, but I never like archiving blogs.

i only did it once, and i miss that muse endlessly. (It was Neal Cassidy at thatartfuldodger .... and like before we knew anything about him so I took my own spin and so he’s just so dear to me and I had to retire him.)

“You couldn’t hide forever.”

“But-- how did you find me.”

Peter stares at his mother, deciding not to answer. She had no right to ask questions here. He merely takes out the bag of pastries he went out to get her early in the morning the day she left him. It was Mother’s Day... only fitting that it would also be Mother’s Day when he finally reconnected. The pastries were well over 800 years old and not edible, despite preserving them in Neverland. He drops the bag of pastries at her feet, causing her to sort of step out of the way to avoid being hit.

“I’ve waited over 800 years for this moment. Happy fucking Mother’s Day you selfish bitch.” You r u i n e d me.

He then grabs her face by the jaw with one hand and presses a harsh kiss on her before shoving her away and letting go. “I hope you’re happy.” Turning around he proceeds to walk away from her this time.

She stands there watching him, rather stunned and horrified, almost unable to breath because of how overwhelming all of this is. She glances down at the bag and sinks down to open it, realizing just what it was.

The two of them unknowingly shared one more thing as they parted ways all these years later-- tears due to one another.

“An actual place would be nice.” A house with a picket fence, a nice kitchen, room for a dog maybe but it wasn’t something Emma saw in her future. “Unless I win the lottery I don’t really see it happening.” She nodded. “It’s a very big void.”

She could like and say no, things like that didn’t effect her but it did, it always had. Emma was always left wondering why her parents didn’t want her.

Peter smirked lightly at the image Emma was inadvertently and unknowingly projecting into the Piper’s thoughts. Looked like something out of a magazine, not one of those unattainable ones of course, one that almost seemed too cookie cutter to be her true style though. “Never say never. Start playing the lotto, someone has to win, right? And you’re living in a large metro area which increases your chances of winning. Ever noticed how the winners always seem to be from California, New York, New Jersey, or Florida?”

She’d be a tough cookie to crumble, but he believe he could figure out her puzzle. “Maybe someday I’ll tell you how my mum abandoned me. Sometimes I think it would have been better not to have known her at all.”

A little maneuvering through the metro stop and Peter was able to squeeze both of them through one swipe at the turnstiles and navigate the necessary metro lines. They were about 5 stops away. “Wanna go to the highline after I drop off the thing for Jackie? I don’t know about you, but sometimes I like to sit on the observation decks and look down at the traffic underneath... almost like I’m floating in the air. Odd, I know, but...” he shrugged.

"Hello Emma," The piper smirked, leaning against a tree with his arms crossed. He wanted one last private little chit chat with the so called saviour before the final bang. A proposition.

Emma had been sitting up while everyone else was asleep, the fate of her son kept the savior on constant alert in this miserable little jungle; the sooner they were out of here the better.When she heard his voice her mind said attack but she needed to think about Henry, she didn’t want her son to see her as a killer. Instead she spoke in a quiet tone so not to scare him off.“What do you want, Pan?”

She shook her head. “I can’t have you kill Henry, Peter.” But now that her memory had been returned, Emma didn’t think she could kill Peter either.

Emma looked up at the sky as the rain started fall, an idea formed in her head and while it wasn’t ideal it would mean no killing would have to occur. “I could take Henry’s place? She asked as her eyes settled back on him. “I have magic, surely it can help you with your problem but in return everyone who doesn’t belong here gets to leave if they wish.”

He knew that. She wouldn’t let him. His only other option was to have Henry stay on the island. Henry’s heart had to stay in Neverland-- that was the big thing. Whether he was alive of dead would just be minor detail. If he could get Henry to stay... he could naturalize the boy as a Villager so he could technically age... But surely Emma wouldn’t let Henry stay... not alone. Before he could touch on that, Emma spoke.

“--It’s not the same. His heart was made for this. Your’s was made for something different. I’m still open to... changing my ways in some regard to accommodate you if it means Henry stays.” There was a pause, the serene trickle of rain on the leaves and earth around them was almost calming for the piper.

“You both can stay. I can have the natives that became villagers naturalize you so you can age like normal if you’d like. For Henry it’d be normal aging until his 17th year. Then he’d have to choose... stay young forever or age normally. You can have a life here Emma. A beautiful home, you can do whatever you want... you’d be free.”

The trees let her through without much more of a whisper of “I need to find him.” showing her the path he had taken, light feet padding across the grass and over to the rock where he was sitting. Returning to Neverland had been a wash of withdrawal and spending time hiding in the tree rooms with Peter and once and awhile Prentiss. It had been a serious blow when she found out Killian was gone.

When she came upon Peter, saw the sketchbook in his hand she slid down so she was sitting next to him. “I miss him too.” she whispered quietly, her hand reaching to clutch his.

His eyes found her before he actually turned his head to glance her way briefly. He hated this. He hated being older. He hated that Killian was gone and without a goodbye. He supposed he wouldn’t disdain people leaving as much if they just gave the courtesy of a goodbye. Not even his own mother gave him that.

He moved his hand a little, not wanting that sort of contact at the moment, and just closed the notebook followed by a squeeze. “I like to think I can handle change, but sometimes I just wish I could go back to the way things were. You know?”
