Jet prided himself on a great many things. The ability to withhold the ambiguity of their line of work, how they’d constantly be on the payroll of bounties turning up in areas which they were currently visiting. When he left the ISSP and took on this role, it seemed a new hit was given each week, enough to put money on the table and get the Bebop coasting to a new satellite. Unknown to him and to his partner when he came aboard, cowboy’s were coming to some of their last legs. 

Blue orb of Ganymede only makes Jet feel more lost. Where he left, only to run ashore as the Bebop is filling in only on fumes and the last oomph of it’s title. “That’s probably for the best.” 

Even as he makes this short plan and mind starts to think ahead, as it often does, Jet has that urge to give in to that doubt. Maybe it was time to turn in the towel? “Problem is we don’t have anything to go on. No extra funds, just enough for a couple meals tops.”
