Does Howl have a favorite food or can he just not eat

He both does have a favorite food and he can indeed eat! He just doesn't do a lot of the uh, "hey you need to take off allat" stuff in front of other people - he takes care of his armor in utter privacy, he eats on his own, all of that and then some on his own - and his favorite food is actually muktuk paired with smoked Arctic Char and other things, but he specifically likes the narwhal! It's incredibly important to him to have this, and he eats this in particular by himself mostly to just not only enjoy it, but also to just reminiscence.

How old is Kaz exactly and when did she realize she was trans?

So that is a question that is...very hard to answer. She's well an adult, and older than say, Dravakin, but much younger than Mayor Nox, however given her more, humanoid-esque shape, she looks like she's in her, 30's?? Like 34-35, but her actual age is genuinely something only her family knows, and she's been trans for, what would seem as ages to us, is only a snippet in her life it seems, she hasn't been trans for long. Being as powerful as she is under the classification of a black-horned dragon, she utilitzed her draconic energy to reshape her body basically as far as she could, it was a MASSIVE use of energy, practically cocooning her in a shawl of that energy that gradually solidified across her and birthing her with this new shape at the same age of course, yet completely changed, the one she was comfortable in, the one that she wishes she had after all of this time. Her family does know she's trans and approves of it, of course, she transitioned when she was still living with them in their part of the world, now she exists comfortably in her own little world in the grand part of Daxton-

I know the Ragnulfs are supposed to be more "demon" "devil" "monster" than vampire but do any traditional vampire deterrents work on them? Crosses, holy scripture, garlic (flower OR bulbs), water (placid, moving, OR holy), paprika, anything? Are they thwarted by moving the welcome mat from my front door so they aren't invited in or confused by mirrors and reflective surfaces at all.

So! I've always coined the whole Holy Water thing is a big thing that does hurt them, a lot of holy figures can given the demonic nature - mirrors *do* affect them but in a peculiar way, as they don't really see *themselves* they see visages of what they'd look like as humans - for instance Lucy's reflection has her red hair being black and she has grey eyes - it's not so much as a thing that they cower away from it like it's an active deterrent, it's more of a growing concern for it to be used as a weapon against them, say like getting staked with a cross, seeing a cross in someone's hand, yeah that starts to concern them.

I've never had their like, the base creatures of Bludhaven be just traditional bats, the creatures that populate it next to the vampiric citizens are quadrupedal canine/bat hybrids, they don't have wings, more so the large ears, much sharper claws, they are as big as a full grown Caucasian Shepard (yes this is a real dog look it up) and unwaveringly listen to the royal Ragnulf family, especially Dravakin as these have been alongside him since he was the first to make the dimension, these were the creatures that turned *him*

i remembered the comment about Internal eating lungs and stomach and hearts but choosing lungs and stomach cause “most filling” and i would like to suggest to him

Because liver especially healthy livers are pretty hearty and filling and pair really well with a carb like bread or grits or crackers (im asking to cook breakfast for him chicken livers over eggs with toast drizzled with olive oil lightly salted shortstack of pancakes on the side Internal can i treat you right please)

Honestly you'd make Internal, basically, like, just, EXPLODE - because he's like the perfect visage of the horrible practice of not enjoying food as a thing to enjoy, he eats to fuel himself to keep himself going and pushing himself further and further rather than him savoring what's going into his body. He knows what it needs to sate the deep hunger a Feral like him can get.

So, when you sit him down and genuinely not only cook for him, but give him something that does sate that hunger, and it is a meal that he's supposed to enjoy rather than just messily scarf down like an animal he equates himself to, it's like, territory he hasn't been around in for like, AGES now.

You said once the vamps chew bones to help their fangs, so by that logic would giving them tough pet toys like a KONG chew toy or hamster wooden yogurt bars have a similar affect?

Give some of your horror characters the Silent Hill treatment. What kinda horrors are they experiencing in the town? Would any of them be able to escape?

Crazily enough actually, I think of a scenario somewhat similar to this whenever Ivy enters the Mordeo forest, it's like an out of body experience to gracefully explain it as well as I can. Because for someone who a hybrid of this demonic cannibal species, whenever the curse tries to grapple onto her and finish the overall transformation, it doesn't budge, really, from the state that Ivy's in, half and half basically, yet at that point it's Mordeo instincts surging through a piloted body that can dole out the damage that Ivy knows, and can witness doing but can't stop.

She's within the forest, overhearing the Queen's beckoning calls for her to come home and truly be who she is while her body is reacting to the basic natural instincts of the Mordeo.

But for the others:

-I feel like North's would definitely experience feeling like he's not a human. It's staring, judgement, whispers that are just out of earshot but he can overhear his name on the wind. The weight of his previous deformities still settled on his skin and flesh so he's probably again scratching and clawing at the already damaged scars there. I think North would definitely survive because, this is just him, he is his trauma and the life he lives now in the woods is him literally just trying to overcome in and be better than it but humanity is humanity and still lump in it.

-Kurtis already lost his.

-Pa is a special kind here, honestly probably the most fitting in a scenario like Silent Hill. The volatile mixture of war trauma/PTSD (he doesn't have it but he does still react to certain things), with his daughter's death so the idea of witnessing crashed cars with broken bottles, wilted daises within the fog, newspapers blaming a drunk driver for her own death and it's lucky that the others survived (probably would see a bloodied, riddled with glass shards, broken body version of his daughter asking why he didn't save her or do more), though I do think Pa still could make it out.

-I wanted to leave this one for last because Salem's is...whew, man, his would be rough. The things that happened to him, the failed suicide, disfigured creatures resembling men chasing him, grabbing at him, touching him just before they get too close, (most certainly witnesses a lot of old pictures of himself younger with a kid Reed on walls), the pressure of something surrounding his neck and threatening to clamp down at any second yet it never does. Would he get out? Probably, but I don't think he'd want to, a lot of Salem's mentality is that he just wants it to end at that point.

So! From a romantic standpoint, which is what I was referring to in the other question's answer, uh, something that's remarkably intimate for them to share in between one another is to bite in a special area to taste their beloved's blood. A frequent place for such a marking is on the wrist, and on the neck of course, this is not to feed, it's a passionate gesture of familiarization basically, to become so entwined with everything about your cherished one that you know them from the inside out. Trust me, they can make the difference in between this is an attempt to stifle out a hunt's life, from, I wish to have the memory of your very life essence be always imprinted on my taste buds, *VERY OBVIOUS*

Even Ferals like Internal and Lucy both abide by this rule for their own partners, where their drive and need to feed and devour can be so suffocating, but they know how to control it as it is a part of them, that doing something that feathery soft and meaningful almost seems out of character for what breed of vampire they are. (more so for Internal, but they are twins of the same classification so Lucy does apply here.)

ok funny question about Internal’s eating habits (and maybe the rest of the Ragnulf’s as a result but mostly Internal) I know the lungs are his favorite but how does he rank the liver and heart (I know hearts are Tyr’s thing i think? but the dude named Internal for eating internal organs probably eats them occasionally right pfft)? Also what’s his and the other’s favorite method of getting past the bones? I’d figure the general answer to be just brute strength with hands but how strong are vampire jaws? Could they snap through some ribs with their teeth if they felt like it?

Hmmm, honestly I think Internal would say lungs are his favorite considering that they harbor the most amount of meat, next to the stomach. He kind of consumes the way that he does more in a sense of "it's fuel and I need it" rather than just enjoying it and tasting it. But taste wise, I'd say he probably does enjoy the heart the most, (if anything he says he doesn't like the heart cause he doesn't wanna copy Tyr and says its dumb and yada-yada, his whole thing), and about bones, they're a lot of big cats in this sense actually! Bones can be another source of calcium, nutrients, and keep their fangs very sharp and clean and powerful this way too. The vamps of Bludhaven know how to properly meter the level of strength a bite needed. Marking a loved one? Gentle, careful, precise. Ending the life of a hunt? The bone snapping overheard from such a powerful slam down of their mouth closing is chilling on how loud it is.
