Part of Untitled Captivity Story.

PRESENT DAY

The rain had stopped by the time his session let out, but Elijah threw his hood up anyway before walking outside. He shoved his hands deep into the front pocket of the sweatshirt as he ducked past the receptionist’s desk, head low to avoid any eyes in the waiting room. He didn’t look up until he approached the silver Volkswagen in the far corner of the lot.

His mother sat up straight as he slid into the passenger seat, trying and failing to conceal the fact that her eyelids had been slipping. Her uniform from the nightshift was wrinkled, the bronze name tag slightly crooked beneath her collarbone. “Hi honey,” she said. “How did it go?”

Elijah pulled the car door closed behind him, slinking down in the passenger seat. “It was fine.” His attention drew immediately to the radio at the familiar strum of acoustic guitar that floated through the car—a melody he knew well from the bearded, guitar-strumming worship leader at church. He squashed down the urge to turn it off, tucking his hands inside his sleeves. He could feel his mother’s gaze burning a hole through his cheek from the driver’s seat and squirmed uneasily, his too-long legs jamming against the dash. A sliver of pale thigh peeked up at him from behind a rip in his jeans, and on it, a jagged patch of pink flesh. He closed his fist around the material and yanked it over the scar, resenting his fashion sense from high school that left him with almost nothing but ripped denim in his closet.

“How are you feeling, Number Seven? Not too cold for you, I hope?”

Cold wasn’t the right word. The room was icy. If he could move, he might have been able to get some warmth back into his limbs. But Victor couldn’t move. He couldn’t do anything.

The man seemed contented at Victor’s silence and turned away with a slight smile.

“That’s good to hear.”

Instruments clinked close to his ear, outside his range of vision. His stomach tensed. He could only imagine what was going to happen to him; the laboratory had never had a half-fae as a subject before.

He shifted uncomfortably, shivering in his thin shorts. The straps holding him down kept the tiniest bit of heat under them, but the rest of his bare skin prickled with goosebumps. If only he had a blanket or something—

“The first thing we’re going to do,” announced the scientist abruptly, “is test your sensitivity to iron.” His voice held a note of gentleness, but as he turned back to Victor, his eyes gleamed with a dangerous zeal. A sick feeling roiled in the boy’s gut and he gritted his teeth against it.

Something touched the flesh of his right forearm. His breath caught. But it just felt cold. No, it burned. It stung with an unusual heat, lancing down his arm into his fingers.

“Minor sensitivity to iron,” the scientist muttered. He lifted the iron tool away and the burning dissipated. “Five seconds to produce a reaction.”

Victor let his breath out. That wasn’t too bad. He could stand it.

“Let’s try a different method.”

Something clamped around Victor’s wrist, right above the strap restraining his arm.

He would be all right, he told himself, as the familiar burning sting began. He could do this—

A spasm of pain seared up his forearm. Different pain. He bit his lip hard, trying not to cry out.

“Fascinating.” The man’s voice sounded garbled and distant through the growing haze in the boy’s mind. “Your faerie lineage is stronger than I expected. Our session will have to be a bit longer today.”

Victor couldn’t stop the whimper that escaped his mouth as a second band of iron closed around his other wrist.

Hgnnnnnnnnn I don't have favorites, but I am a freaking sucker for manhandling and close escapes!  That is some good shit.

Just give me a whumpee who throws in a punch, kick, or bite whenever he can, add a dash of snarky comebacks that only earn him more pain, finish it off with a murderous glare and I’ll be set for life.  Oh, and don’t forget to beat the shit out of him ❤️😊

RUTHLESS.  And possessive!  But not too possessive, more like whumper will chase whumpee to the ends of the earth until they are back in their custody.

20. How are you doing today, buddy?

I’m doing FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC, thank you for asking!  I came out to one person yesterday and it felt wonderful!  Like I can finally breathe!  Except I can’t breathe because I haven't told my loved ones and just the THOUGHT may cause me to hyperventilate, so you know.  BUT STILL, I FEEL GOOD!

Getting Tortured by a Ghost 😳

Ingredients: spooky ghost shenanigans, implied mistreatment of mental hospital patients (really just funky spooky messed up mental hospital stuff), tooth pulling, temporary paralyzation, noncon stripping/clothes change, needles

Honestly, Finn didn’t mind the dare. He’d never scared easily, and he was actually excited to get to spend the night exploring the abandoned mental hospital. The multiple reports of hauntings didn’t faze him; all that stuff was bogus. He was more afraid of getting caught trespassing than he was of creaking doors and gusts of wind. 

The place absolutely had the look of a generic haunted building, hallways filled with abandoned, dusty objects and rooms cluttered with debris. He wandered around, his bright flashlight making it easy to see in the dark building. He was on the second floor now, walking down a long hallway lined with doors. On a whim, he opened one and stepped inside.

This is not that kind of blog, but I only have one blog and felt that I should share this, so.

This is the first year that I celebrate Pride Month for myself. I always knew that I lacked certain uh, urges and feelings that other people never seem to shut up about, but I thought I was the only one who felt that way. It wasn’t until the pandemic hit and I found Whumplr that I realized a large chunk of y’all felt like I do!

I’m asexual. This is the only place I can celebrate it, and I thank y’all for always making me feel comfortable enough to be unapologetically me.

This is a simple little phone background that I drew up to celebrate. Y’all are welcome to it! If you want a different flag (or multiple flags!) just hit me up

It took them all their strength to push the knife back, away from piercing their face. Their arms were shaking and faltering, causing the knife to just nick their cheekbone. The small cut leaked blood down their cheek.

“That’s it, dear,” Whumper cooed above them. He sat almost leisurely on Whumpee, straddling their chest. He didn’t have to apply much strength and was mostly teasing, really. Just to see the despair in their face. He applied a little more pressure.

Whumpee strained and gasped and pushed back.

Suddenly, Whumper drove his knee further into their rib cage, nudging their broken ribs.

Whumpee flinched hard and the strength in their arms left them. Their grip on the knife faltered and it plunged down mercilessly into their shoulder.

Mmmkay ya know what I’m just always down for? The initial capture. The moment the whumpee’s life goes from normal to a living hell. The first time they try to move and feel themself bound, the first time they’re grabbed and manhandled, the first time they’ve been gagged or blindfolded, the first time that no one cares what they want at all. They’ve never felt pain like this before, never been treated like they’re less than human, but this is their life now and what the hell and why is this happening to them?!

They never, ever thought something like this was going to happen to them. But now it is, and they don’t even know how to process it. They’ve always been free, and all of a sudden they’re not, and they don’t know if they ever will be again.

I really don’t know, I’ve never considered myself a cool or interesting person. But I think that my ability to remember useless information is pretty cool (like, I don’t remember what I’ve studied but I do remember how many bullets hit the statue that’s on the principal square in my city). Uuuuuuh when i was younger i barrel raced mustangs & rescue horses? I won runner-up at a state level a few times? If thats. like cool and impressive idfk. It was so fucking fun, running barrels is an adrenaline rush and and art and tactical and amazing. Hopefully I’ll get to do it again

uh lemme see okay so I’ve accidentally stapled myself, once touched the soldering machine to my finger instead of the stupid metal in my robotics class (i was so dramatic that day it hurt like a bitch tho), glue gun to my finger (same robotics class), accidentally cut my finger deeply with a knife, ooooo ooh and once I was playing with scissors and accidentally cut a lil bit of skin on my finger. seriously the amount of damage my fingers have bared because of my clumsiness except everything is healed so anyways i think its cool lmao. I have a scar on my lip, it’s it’s on the right corner. Won’t notice unless you’re looking but aLSO MY EYES. They’re a really dark brown which is common, i know but bc of my mums grandfather (thank you so fucking much) my siblings and i all have greyish-blue rims around the coloured part of our eyes

This is pretty cool to me because I’ve just realized this, but it’s also probably lame BUT.  For as long as I can remember I had trouble understanding people over the phone and I had no idea why.  I thought I just wasn't paying enough attention to what was being said.  Also, when I started working in surgery cases (pre-COVID) I could never EVER understand what anyone was saying behind their masks.  I just attributed it to the noise of the machinery in the room or my anxiety.

It wasn’t until the pandemic hit and EVERYONE was forced to wear masks that I finally realized what was really happening!  

I read lips!

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not part-deaf or anything like that.  My ears function just fine!  Comprehension is the villain here.  Words are just random noise until I watch the speaker’s mouth and then the noise forms meaning.  (I was always aware that I watch people’s mouths when they speak, but I always thought I was studying the way the lips move because I’m an artist and I draw that stuff.  I had nooooooo idea!)
