Ok, so I know I haven't been around in awhile. But man my life has been CRAZY! God has been doing a lot in my life and in my heart, mind, and soul. He has brought my attention to areas of my life he wanted to heal and make me whole again in those areas, specifically in the area of family where my relationship with my bio dad was nonexistent and my relationship with my bio mom was really messed up. I love school and am loving my living situation and my roommates. Oh and one more thing: I am 170 days clean today!!!!!!!!!!

What are the courses like so far for Youth Ministry?

So far I love all of my classes, I love the Christ centered schooling I'm getting! The professors are really nice at my school, and the work I get to do in local churches with some of my classes and on my own is so amazing. I have particularly loved my Ministry 101 class and my Bible 101 class, and working with a local pastor to learn more about scripture and doing word studies! I just love it so much, I love it way more than the public education I got for all of my school years until now. I really love how small my school is, I've actually got the chance to talk with my schools director(dean) a couple different times and he is very interested in hearing the prospective of the first year students and hearing our ideas and suggestions. He is truly interested in the students and knows most by name! But above all else I am extremely grateful for our half an hour worship every morning and hour long prayer time every morning, just starting out every day with Jesus makes everything better!

So now that I'm settled in I want to give everyone a quick update. I have been loving school, it's amazing to see what Gods already doing this year. Each morning I go to worship and prayer, most mornings it's 45 minutes of both. I have been struggling to get used to living in the dorms, but I anticipated that this would happen. I have been enjoying every minute of free time I get and have continued to run each morning, and also have been running 3 miles each Saturday. It's going to be a fun year. Also I am so excited to announce what missions trip I'll be going on, be on the lookout for my missions update within the next week or so.
