tbh i have very complicated feelings about proship/antiship discourse. i often go from "as long as people distinguish fiction from reality clearly and tag their content properly it's all ok" to "WE NEED TO KILL ALL LOLICONS" and back.

how does it relate to pafl? sometimes i catch myself thinking about sanya x sergei (aka kazarincest) and even liking it. not in a fetish way. maybe it's because i'm a sergei fan who relates to sanya, maybe it's because i have this complicated longing for an older male figure in my life, maybe i just like sergei angst. idk.

so i feel very weird because i technically ship incest but im too anti for proshippers and too proship for antishippers. im in a strange sort of fandom limbo

The 'stalker-ESP=foot-fetish' idea would also be really interesting with Yura/Sanya stuff. Bc Yura grew up with ESP and Sanya was raised by stalkers who have ESP, so the side-effects like that would be more natural to them and maybe they could have some sort of solidarity or connection about that? I'm not really into Yura/Sanya, but if you are maybe this is something to you?

Like you have a base layer of Olya faking enjoyment with Sergei and not being able to get pleasured properly, but theres the extra thing about how her foot-indifference is really the norm in the wider world and it only becomes abnormal in their little stalker circle. Thats really interesting and I don't see how else that would be explored

i'm revoking sanya privileges from anyone who wasn't homeschooled. "wah wah too much of her character revolves around yura" SHE'S HOMESCHOOLED. literally for a decade of her life the only people she talked to were sergei olya kolya and nikita. and kolya got kirked. sanya being Like That about yura is not a shoehorned romance or whatever it's WHAT HAPPENS when a homeschooled kid is finally able to connect with a peer after years of living in their isolated little bubble. i feel like i'm going insane.

i kinda miss ferry's 2018-2019 artstyle, like the one in the very first pafl video. i know it's probably nostalgia speaking since i joined the fandom in 2019 and practically grew up with pafl (i was 11 when i first watched the videos and i'll be turning 18 this year) and of course the artstyle ferry has now has a much better technical quality. it's just that the characters looked like little goobers back then with their eyes and their noses and their smiles (i miss their teeth being detailed) and the little messy lines everywhere with a brush that has no pressure settings

I prefer the modern one more but the old one has its charm 🐇
