In Need of a Wife! Help?

  Dear readers, I have to admit something that I have been keeping inside my heart because of pride and dignity. 55 is the age that is terrible to not have a wife or children. Every day going downtown I see married women with 5 or 6 children around them and I think, their father is probably proud of having so many kids. I just a handsome, rich, and good-looking man walking so lonely with no women besides me is definitely a struggle. I see my friends having their wife around them and their 6 children playing and hunting makes me so sad that I don’t have a family of my own. Some friends have put me blind date’s with others but in the end, all they want is my money not for my looks. I just don’t understand, don’t women love me? With praying to God and believing him, I have hope that my wife is out in the world somewhere. If you know someone that is available please comment. PLEASE!

   Hey Meriweather, you seem to have a dilemma. I believe that any woman would love to have you...... unless you are impotent. Marriage is purely for procreation, so I hope that is all you plan on doing. I see no need for worrying about having a woman by your side, but I can see why you would want your strong male heirs to walk side by side with you. 

   Love has nothing to do with marriage, I do wish that you would watch how you phrase your want to have children. It has no matter if women love you, it only matters if they look fertile. I may have a friend or two, ready to be wed. Please contact me as soon as possible, so I can send a young woman to your liking to your home.

Good Times

Recently, me and my friends had gone to a nearby tavern to have a nice chat and to drink for fun. It was named Wood-bridge Tavern. The atmosphere was very enjoyable to me and my comrades. We sat down and drank to our hearts content.  I will return again, whenever I have enough leisure time. We also occasionally do tests of strength and such with each other.

Me and my family have gotten a family portrait done of us. My four daughter, my sister, and her 2 daughters were all included. Sadly, my sister’s husband could not make it, but he had given me permission to include her in the family picture. It is quite a beautiful piece. I might want to have another one done, soon.

Poor Little Child

I have just seen a little child planting a seed into the ground, most likely in hopes of seeing it grow into a crop. Little does he know that the terrain is much too rough with poor fertility to grow any crops. I expect a disappointed look on the child’s face in a number of weeks. However, this disappointment will educate the child about our land and it’s ways.

Hello and welcome to my online journal!

My name is Ash Arborman. I am a father of 4 and husband to Acacia Arborman. I am currently 36 years old, while my wife is 28. I expect to procreate even further with my wife. I am a devout Puritan that is also working as a lumberjack with some background in shipbuilding.  

I have decided to create an online journal to share my daily life in the New Hampshire colony. My daily life mostly includes my leisure time and working stories. I hope that you will find joy in reading this journal, as it will take a portion of my day to write these up.

Just me and my men working at the docks using our wood to help the shipbuilders. This job is unbearably exhausting, but it is the one job I can do the best. I was also interested in working as a merchant, but I decided it was best to stick to physical labour as my living.

Those Indians

They are shoving their incompetent ways into our faces. They are never gonna get far with their lazy use of the land. Those Indians should just give it to us because they are not using it to it’s fullest potential. The Indians are barely even using it, why not give it to us? it makes the most sense to give away something you have almost no need for. The extra acres could help our settlement grow even bigger. I can imagine the cleared woodland spot being used for roadways and fencing, it sounds like the efficient use of the area.

That Son of a Witch!

How dare Cyrus’ mother practice witchery. She was an old hag, who was probably attempting to kill us all! I bet her son is practicing witchery, too. Her bloodline is cursed. We must hurry and kill her family!!!! I shall return to sharing my stories after we have slain the dirty witches. I must quickly inform my kin to gather the torches and pitchforks to protect our colony from those beings that reject God.
