I picked up a very strong signal from the Soviet-era enigma-type station known as The Buzzer a few weeks ago when shortwave propagation conditions were favourable. It seems it and similar military stations (The Pip, The Squeaky Wheel, The Air Horn, The Alarm, etc) are being used to direct warzone operations in Ukraine as frequency / transmission site changes of relays, beacons and encoded messages seem to correlate with unit movements. SWLers noticed the significant pickup in activity just before the February 2022 "special military operation".
