We have launched a photography competition to find a budding photojournalist to photograph our award-winning Little Hearts Project.

Hello everyone! The charity I am currently running has just recently launched a photography competition to anyone who has a flare for volunteering in the sector. Muntada Aid believes access to quality maternal health for women is a fundamental human right and critical to reducing poverty.

Our maternal health project focuses on saving the lives of mothers in Sub-Sahara Africa in line with UN Millennium Development Goal Five. We aim to contribute to the reduction of the alarming rates of mothers dying during labour in Ghana, Nigeria, Benin, Togo and Mali.

The Return

As long as breaks go, it has been a long while since I last posted anything on this page. I guess I had a lot of time on my hands in the early days of this blog, but work commitments have meant a step back. 

Having thought about this I think it would be a let down not only to the almost 100,000 subscribers but also to myself if I stopped.

I have missed this place.
