cave in under pressure
Tugging his coat closely against him Touya tried his hardest to force away the shivering which his body was using to protest, once again he ended up in the freezing region of Sinnoh chasing after stray rumours, though as to why his old rival would had traveled to this freezing region was beyond him but sometimes you just have to roll with what your given, even if it’s hints to go to the snow covered region. -Though thankfully in this section he wasn’t have to treck through the awful stuff-
Though the fog still wasn’t something he enjoyed, it reminded him too much of the Giant Chasm which made him feel rather enjoy due to the rumors which floated about with the fog.
Squinting his eyes he catches a figure slump down near one of the rock walls, though his first thought was that the guy was probably not local if he wore an outfit like that in this region although… yeah he probably was local, that girl Dawn he met here on his last journey was dressed crazy like for this weather as well, maybe you just didn’t feel the cold in this region.
Raising an arm up he waved toward the stranger, hopefully he could actually see him through this fog because the poor guy was pretty lost and he wasn’t so fond of making his Braviary fly in such poor visual conditions despite the birds keen eye, better safe than sorry.
“Hey! Are you doing all right over there?”
[Talk about a heart attack. It had gotten so quiet he had gotten used to it. Hearing that fella call out like he did through it all? Oh yeah. That was enough to make him jump and whap his head against something to boot.
Hissing as his hand flies up to the bump, he immediately straightens and gets a look at this kid.]
Aahh... yeah, I'm fine. [Well.] Maybe not fine, but I'm not in any danger. Just kind of turned myself around. Not my best hustle.
[He frowns at himself, squinting through the wispy fog to get a better idea for who he's talking to.]
Guess I didn't look so good down there? That's not cool. [He'll smile, because to be honest, it's better to have someone to talk to. At least then he's not thinking 100% about how lost he is. That's really uncool.
He hesitates, glancing to the side as he thinks. He's got a few more options here now, huh? But they're not all that great either... Ah jeez.
The Hoenn boy sighs, gritting his teeth at this mess. Brendan's pretty prideful as a person. He doesn't think he's amazingly better than anyone else, but losing anything (his bearings, a battle, whatever) really messes him up a little. So the idea of asking somebody for help is kind of twisting his stomach in knots.
Time to keep the conversation away from that for a minute.]
Sorry for the scare, man.
