Quick Reminder
As my teacher once said: Never be afraid of being brave.
You know finals are approaching, when your desk once again begins to resemble a battlefield, from the annual war between textbooks, notes and highlighters.
You're finally getting it. I'm a strange guy. And you'll never be a strange guy, which is too bad for you.
Bill Konigsberg - Honestly Ben
You’re alive. That means you have infinite potential. You can do anything, make anything, dream anything. If you change the world, the world will change.

That thing about sexuality
One of the reasons coming out is hard to me is that I'm afraid I will change. Of course I know, I still will be the same person, I am at this moment. But will I also be that person for others? Right now, I am the quite weird but funny friend, that laughs at complex, intelligent jokes, the same as at stupid puns. I'm the girl who's always burrying her nose in a book, and likes to talk endlessly about books, movies and fictional worlds. I'm a piano player, I'm a friend, a daughter, a sister. But what's going to happen after I tell the others? The thing I'm afraid of is that it might be a huge for them. Which it isn't. I'm attracted to girls and guys, it is that simple. However, I might also be just "the bisexual girl". That label might overshadow my others. I will not longer be described as the intelligent girl, but the bisexual girl. But my sexuality isn't nearly as important to me than anything else. It's a part of me, but it doesn't define me. Yes I'm bisexual and I wouldn't want to change that. But I am so much more.

Joyful Places
For every booklover there ist this one place, that never fails to make them happy. A place to forget all the sorrows that trouble them, to make their hearts feel full of love and admiration, to make their eyes light up with joy when they enter: their favourite bookshop. In the life of a reader you get to see and experience a lot of bookshops, every place you travel to has at least one, after all. You see all those different shelves, all those different orders in wich different books are placed on those shelves. Some are small, some are so big you could easily spend a week inside. Yet, no matter how amazing they all are, you will always have your favourite one. Let me tell you about mine. The town I live in is relatively small, so the bookshop isn't big either. It has two different stores. On the ground floor, you have the love stories and the thrillers, as well as a well sorted collection of notebooks. Usually a blonde woman is working at a desk in the front, she always smiles, and because she seems to have an excellent memory of names, she always greets you, when you come in. Then there is a narrow staircase, which leads to the first floor, where the YA books, the fantasy novels and the cooking books are kept. I've eben buying my books there ever since I was able to read, my mum showed me the place when I was a little kid. And now matter how hopeless everything might feel, everytime I'm in there I can't help but feel safe and happy.
Fyi #1: baking is an amazing hobby (not limited to a certain weather, amount of people, easy to learn and you can eat the results (if you don't screw up too bad)) . Fyi #2 when asked about a fictional character you identify with and you want to be taken seriously: You might want to choose someone else than the cookie monster.
Dear Brain, I have a math test in 18 hours. Could you please make me study instead of being on the internet?
