âDo you know what happens when you hurt people? When you hurt people, they begin to love you less. Thatâs what careless words do. They make people love you a little less.â

I want to go away on a trip, turn off my phone, watch the sun rise and set, and for once.. truly appreciate life for all that it is and all that it is not. To have someone beside me would be nice but I am learning that I am whole despite.
INFJs are known to be âthe empathâ.
QUIZ: AM I AN EMPATH? Ask yourself:
1. Have I been labeled as âtoo emotionalâ or overly sensitive?
2. If a friend is distraught, do I start feeling it too?
3. Are my feelings easily hurt?
4. Am I emotionally drained by crowds, require time alone to revive?
5. Do my nerves get jarred by noise, smells, or excessive talk?
6. Do I prefer taking my own car places so that I can leave when I please?
An empath is a person who absorbs the emotions of others like a sponge and experiences these emotions as their own. While empaths are warm, intuitive, and compassionate people, their high level of sensitivity makes them prone to experiencing issues such as anxiety, depression, and crippling physical illnesses.
Empaths are highly sensitive, finely tuned instruments when it comes to emotions. They feel everything, sometimes to an extreme, and are less apt to intellectualize feelings. Intuition is the filter through which they experience the world. Empaths are naturally giving, spiritually attuned, and good listeners. If you want heart, empaths have got it. Through thick and thin, theyâre there for you, world-class nurturers.
The trademark of empaths is that they know where youâre coming from. Some can do this without taking on peopleâs feelings. However, for better or worse, others, like myself and many of my patients, can become angst-sucking sponges. This often overrides the sublime capacity to absorb positive emotions and all that is beautiful.
What are the disadvantages of being an Empath? - Quora
âOne of the best feelings is finding someone who really gets you. A person who lets you be vulnerable and honest. The kind of person who encourages you to push past your flaws because they accept you as you are. Someone who never tells you that youâre too much of this and too little of that. Because to them youâre just enough of everything they love.â
â Sylvester McNutt
âI am homesick for a place I am not sure even exists. One where my heart is full. My body loved. And my soul understood.â

Reasons Why I Like to be Alone
1. I can think my own thoughts.
2. I can listen to my heart.
3. Thereâs no need to fit in with, or to please, other people.
4. I can be at peace with my authentic self.
5. I can focus my thinking and attention on what matters.
6. I can invest my time on my own priorities.
7. I am free of the pressures that can sap my energy.
If you and your partner share different love languages - thatâs okay. People will showcase their love in their own ways. The hard part comes when people expect to feel love in their own ways without seeing past what their partner may understand. For example, there are five love languages - 1) words of affirmation 2) acts of service 3) receiving gifts 4) quality time and 5) physical touch. Generally, people belong to two of the above categories. Personally, my love languages are words of affirmation and quality time. Iâve had partners who did not show their love through either of these. Instead, theyâd shower me with gifts - while I recognized that these acts were sweet, they didnât make me feel loved. Instead, I looked for sentimental value. I looked for words of affirmation in the form of letters or post-its. I looked for quality time where I felt that they took the time. And maybe I enjoyed the smaller gestures like holding my hand in a crowded room or just standing by my side on days I didnât feel as social as the situation required me to be. I searched for that connected intuition. But this doesnât make other methods of showing any more or less valuable. And Iâm still trying to grasp that myself. Where I tend to write notes where I feel loved and loving, they may not. Where I value language greatly in a literal sense, my partner may prefer silence. The important thing is to recognize and sacrifice where you can, implement where you can and accept where you also can.
Eventually you hit that point where youâre no longer interested in convincing people that how you feel and who you are is valid and decide that as long as you know your truth and what works for you, thatâs what matters.
you have this idea in your head that the only time youâre worthy of being loved is when youâre at your best. youâre still worthy of being loved when youâre at your lowest. youâre still worthy of being loved when you donât want to go on anymore. you are still worthy of being loved even when you donât love yourself. you are a human and therefore always worthy of being loved and donât you fool yourself into thinking otherwise.Â
âI think one of my favorite feelings is laughing with someone and realizing half way through how much you enjoy their existence.â

âWe always see our worst selves. Our most vulnerable selves. We need someone else to get close enough to tell us weâre wrong. Someone we trust.â
â David LevithanÂ
âItâs all about falling in love with yourself and sharing that love with someone who appreciates you, rather than looking for love to compensate for a self love deficit.â
