ESTPs are hands-on learners who live in the moment, seeking the best in life, wanting to share it with their friends. The ESTP is open to situations, able to improvise to bring about desired results. They are active people who want to solve their problems rather than simply discuss them.
ESTPs, or "Promoter Artisans", are the most adept among the types at influencing other people. Promoting is the art of maneuvering others to one's position. Concrete in speech and utilitarian in action, they are smooth operators. The ESTP knows everyone who matters and everything there is to do because they are very resourceful, always knowing where the fun and action is. They like to indulge themselves in the finer things in life and to bring other people with them. Their goal in life is to sell themselves and their ideas to others. Dramatic and debonair, they are gifted at earning others' confidence.
I have done a few different MBTI and Jung tests for Niall as they based on slightly different criteria and I enjoy doing them... With the above test I got ESTP, and it does fit Niall to an extent with the above definition. In other tests I have also received ESTJ or ESFP (as an unhealthy one) both of which fit too. More information and research is required for an accurate typing - and a little more char dev - but so far ESTP does fit the best as baseline.

TYPE SEVEN - THE ENTHUSIAST
The Busy, Variety-Seeking type: Spontaneous, Versatile, Acquisitive, and Scattered
Sevens are extroverted, optimistic, versatile, and spontaneous. Playful, high-spirited, and practical, they can also misapply their many talents, becoming over- extended, scattered, and undisciplined. They constantly seek new and exciting experiences, but can become distracted and exhausted by staying on the go. They typically have problems with impatience and impulsiveness. At their Best: they focus their talents on worthwhile goals, becoming appreciative, joyous, and satisfied.
Basic Fear: Of being deprived and in pain
Basic Desire: To be satisfied and content—to have their needs

Enneagram Seven with an Eight-Wing: "The Realist"
Key Motivations: Want to maintain their freedom and happiness, to avoid missing out on worthwhile experiences, to keep themselves excited and occupied, to avoid and discharge pain.
The Meaning of the Arrows (in brief): When moving in their Direction of Disintegration (stress), scattered Sevens suddenly become perfectionistic and critical at One. However, when moving in their Direction of Integration (growth), gluttonous, scattered Sevens become more focused and fascinated by life, like healthy Fives.
TYPE EIGHT - THE CHALLENGER
The Powerful, Dominating Type: Self-Confident, Decisive, Willful, and Confrontational
Eights are self-confident, strong, and assertive. Protective, resourceful, straight-talking, and decisive, but can also be ego-centric and domineering. Eights feel they must control their environment, especially people, sometimes becoming confrontational and intimidating. Eights typically have problems with their tempers and with allowing themselves to be vulnerable.At their Best: self- mastering, they use their strength to improve others' lives, becoming heroic, magnanimous, and inspiring.

Basic Desire: To protect themselves (to be in control of their own life
and destiny)
Enneagram Eight with a Seven-Wing: "The Maverick"
Key Motivations: Want to be self-reliant, to prove their strength and resist weakness, to be important in their world, to dominate the environment, and to stay in control of their situation.
The Meaning of the Arrows (in brief): When moving in their Direction of Disintegration (stress), self-confident Eights suddenly become secretive and fearful at Five. However, when moving in their Direction of Integration (growth), lustful, controlling Eights become more open-hearted and caring, like healthy Twos.
Niall came out equal for Type 7 and Type 8. I'm not sure whether he'd be a type 7 with an 8 wing or a type 8 with a 7 wing, but either way the wing would be strong. Of course, he could also be an unhealthy personality type, but that's going a little deep for now. Basically this needs further investigation and research - I'll update when I've done so - but both of these work. UPDATE: Niall is likely a Self-Preservation Type 7 with strong 8 Wing.

I wouldn't say he acts without prejudice but whatever seems like a good idea at the time is true. "As you do, a scrawny-looking squirrel hops close to you and looks at you pitifully." During this question all I could think was that he'd just eat the damn squirrel. As did the next one about the worm.
Your temperament is choleric. The choleric temperament is fundamentally ambitious and leader-like. They have a lot of aggression, energy, and/or passion, and try to instil it in others. They can dominate people of other temperaments, especially phlegmatic types. Many great charismatic military and political figures were choleric. They like to be in charge of everything. However, cholerics also tend to be either highly disorganized or highly organized. They do not have in-between setups, only one extreme to another. As well as being leader-like and assertive, cholerics also fall into deep and sudden depression. Essentially, they are very much prone to mood swings.
This one works in general. I wouldn't say Niall was particularly aggressive usually, but passionate and energetic definitely with a distinct like of being in control/charge although he doesn't have to be... I wouldn't say he has the potential of falling into a deep sudden depression but he can be moody.
