Imagine the level of loser you have to be to go and review bomb something just because you are so bitter with what you got that your miserable self can't cope other way
'twas the night before Benophie season
i can't believe we are actually here, ever since I heard they were adapting the Bridgerton books I was so excited for An Offer From a Gentleman, it got delayed but we are finally here.
Season 1: it was cute, love Phoebe and Rege, they are the blueprint
Season 2: I'm still mad about how much they change their story, it was unnecessary (to me) how they dragged the wedding and how they changeed Edwina's character. BUT Simone and Jonny really made the season, unbelievable chemistry and timeless dialogue.
QUEEN CHARLOTTE: Perfect, no notes, superb acting, perfect casting. I cried so much, I want more spin offs please
Season 3: highly disappointed, they made the Whistledown show instead of Romancing Mr. Bridgerton. Colin was like an afterthought, it lacked cuteness overall, and way too many subplots, I wished we had flashbacks of them as kids.
Season 4 so far basing on episode 1 I'm so happy! It really seems like the most book accurate 🤞🏼
i love that Sophie know about sex and what she wants, it really is a breath of fresh air and it makes total sense, being a maid she probably heard and maybe watched things that noble ladies don't. I'm getting more and more excited about this seasons every new interview or clip.
baby Sophie i'll defend you with my life
😭😭😭
Benedict Bridgerton Mr Darcying
It’s like these basement dwellers (I don’t even want to equate them with Polins, there are plenty of lovely Polins, these ones are a cult) love to mollycoddle Luke N. They jump on the opportunity to victimise him and diminish his own agency AND WHAT ACTUALLY COMES OUT OF HIS MOUTH by constantly pitting him against his co-stars and misinterpreting everything that people, INCLUDING HIM, say. They make everything about him. It’s insane. Luke N is such a chill sweet dude, you know that he would laugh in their face if he saw what these pathetic clowns were doing with their time. No matter how much he says he loves his Bridgerton family and builds Luke T and Yerin up, they will find a bone to pick because apparently he doesn’t mean what he says or what????? This man that you claim to love and “defend” so much… by actively denying his and his cast members’ humanity and what he speaks about. The other day I saw one of these delulus on here sharing a screenshot of Luke N’s story where he was saying he was gutted he couldn’t fly over to the Paris premiere and wished “Lukey T and Yerin and the Bridgerton cast and crew” love and congratulations. Lovely, isn’t it? But this faceless hater captioned it something like: “Wow, no reason to tune in anymore”, and then added along the lines of, “And I’m laughing at how he calls him Lukey T. NO, Luke, you are Lukey, I don’t recognise the other as such” LIKE WHAT. ARE YOU ACTUALLY INSANE. DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND HOW EMBARRASSING THIS IS, ARE U NOT EXHAUSTED. This in-fandom manufactured drama shit is borderline satirical. And I can’t help but see the irony of making shit like this up about the loveliest, close-knit, longtime cast who constantly gush about how much they love being around each other. Luke Thompson and Luke Newton have known each other now for 7 years (shooting started in 2019) and their bromance and bond as Bridgerton bros has always been highlighted in the show and in the special separate fun interviews where it’s just them two. You know you people are being actively annoying and hateful and insane for no reason whatsoever? The racism, xenophobia and misogyny stuff is just disgusting and despicable, some people are showing their true colours and I just really want them to know that Luke N and especially, Irish, Pro-Palestine activist Nicola would abhor them for that😉
Couldn't have said it better. And to the people who keep saying but but you guys but but benophies, but kanthonys... There's always annoying people everywhere and in every single fandom, the thing is LN and NC stans have been time and time again inventing harassing and being racist for years now, by far they are the vast majority every single day with some new narrative to create drama.
so I'm seeing that Yerin is being subjected to a wave of racism, xenophobia, misogynist and extreme hate by a sub fandom just because she said that Luke is fine just like he is?
Hasn't been a running topic that Luke T doesn't need any extra change like the previous leads have? So by praising her costar apparently that's a shade towards Luke N? And no, Luke T wasn't being shady either, it's like those people are on the edge waiting for some excuse to show their true colors, racist annoying people who have a bad case of parasocial relationships.
Jonny Bailey had a glow up, they got rid of those awful sideburns, Luke N had a more extreme one and was THE topic over many articles because it was that obvious, does that make them not attractive? No, of course not, but it seems like pointing out the changes for some reason triggers these people...
Now that subfabdom is on a campaign to boycott the season lol, let's be adults for a minute here, you are not as important as you think you are, stop being horrible racist xenophobic and touch some grass.
Benedict being the diamond of the season was not on my bingo card but I'm here for it
Of course he is!
i loved Sophie's introduction, ohh to be a casual watcher that didn't read the book and doesn't watch trailers, to have that reveal of Sophie's reality would be so cool
That was THE best first episode, love the "downstairs" commentary, it exceed my expectations, I love Sophie and I love their first encounter.
Only missing wish was the Viscount and Viscountess, I NEED to see Kate again...
*clip of Mike & El exchanging vows in front of their loved ones*
Some member of the mass psychosis group: that's because of his internalized homophobia, he's oBvIoUsLy saying those vows to his true love Will, cope harder all of you illiterate people who can't see the OBVIOUS hints all the way through seAsoN 1, can't you seeee how they look at each other✨
Babe... the show ended 5 years ago...
One reason I see people bring up for hating Mileven is Eleven getting a traditional happy ending, marrying Mike and building a life together, maybe even a family, would somehow be a bad ending for her or it would somehow ruin her character.
I even saw someone begging for El to be freed from this ending she was going to become a slave or something.
I noticed that in recent years, the idea of characters, especially women, getting married and living out their lives peacefully has been villainised. In a lot of cases, when done poorly, there is merit to that. Nobody likes to see their inspiration suddenly throw away what defined them just to be a house wife.
But that's not the case with Eleven.
Eleven never got a normal life. She never knew peace for most of her childhood. She was osrochised and isolated for most of her life, not finding any solice even in the children trapped in the Lab with her.
Time and time again, we see Eleven at her happiest when she is with her friends and family, doing things a normal hirl should be doing. Exploring the house with Mike. Eating Eggo Extravaganzas with Hopper. Going to the Snowball with Mike. Throwing a suprise party for Dustin. Kissing and just hanging out with Mike. Going on a shopping spree with Max. Exchanging letters with Mike. Watching Mike goofing off. Trying to force-feed Mike pizza. Just seeing Mike puts a smile on her face.
Eleven is never happy when she has to fight, whether it be monsters or the government. The show thas made it very clear that El just wants to feel normal. She doesn't want to have to fight anymore. She just wants to live a peaceful life where she can be happy.
And more than likely, that life will be spent with Mike, the one who turned her from a number to a person. The one who has stuck by her side. The one who saw the girl before the powers.
Eleven has a right to choose what makes her happy.
If a life with Mike by her side makes her happy, then I don't see what's so wrong with that.
mike wheeler and lucas sinclair the blueprint of loverboys
I am so satisfied to see how well they have developed Mike and Eleven to this mature couple even when they are just still around sixteen only. They have been through every key phase of a relationship— liking, falling in love, yearning, honeymoon phase, struggles and differences, acceptance of love— and finally they have become these strong individuals who can exist outside of the relationship with their own identities, and yet be absolutely in love with each other, in an all-consuming and soul-merging way. You can tell they don't 'need' each other, they 'want' each other, and that is why they choose to be together.
Finn was so right when he said during season four that Mike is a part of Eleven, and Eleven is a part of Mike. That's soul merging love.
And also, I just want to say that their entire sequence in Episode 1 is just getting to me in a stronger way with every watch. They are so mature, he is so hopeful and trying to encourage her, and her trying to believe that. The sunset. The background score. The softness. The peace. It's too damn good.
i'm seeing such mass psychosis over all social media regarding Mike, El and Will dynamics, at first i thought they were just joking or making silly theories but no, they are dead serious and i was like… what? so i rewatch from the beginning with an open mind thinking okay i hear you let's see and no, there was zero hint that Mike ever reciprocated Will's feelings, zero. Mike got a huge crush over that girl he met in the woods, they grew into teens and obviously both are developing their personalities and their relationship is evolving with them, one thing is certain, he loves that girl and she loves him, he also loves Will as a FRIEND, and my god that Robin speech about her unreciprocated love couldn't be any more obvious, people are really lacking in the media literacy skills. And on top of that, we have 5 seasons of development just to throw all away in the final what? 2 episodes? El is in the UD trying to save his bf sister and Will is just hitting on his practically sister's bf? you see how dumb all of that sound? this is a supernatural apocalypse world, not a light teen romance show.
I don't usually ship real life people BUT I need Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell together 😭
Both funny and hot? I buy it
