I am Abdulrahman

from Gaza, 26 years old. I stand before you as a person trying to support my family of 7: me, my father, my mother and my sisters, in our miserable circumstances, which we live in after the occupation launched the war on Gaza. We were displaced from our home and it was completely destroyed. We are now living in shelters. Due to the circumstances and low income, we are unable to provide the necessary benefits such as food and drink due to the crazy increase in prices. Thus, my source of livelihood has been destroyed, but it has been completely destroyed, as we are no longer entitled to work; and we expect to live in miserable conditions in the shelters. It is difficult for me to find the words to describe what we face every day in the shelters; without food, medicine or clean drinking water; with the oppression, helplessness, psychological pressures, doubts and daily shocks caused by everything around us and the inability to care for our loved ones. The fear of danger, disease and death never leaves us.

Now, I find myself in this difficult situation, and I humbly ask for your help to save the lives of my family, especially my father and mother, by getting us out of Gaza to Egypt and building a new life outside Gaza or helping us get money to buy the necessities that we may be able to afford. Asking for help is not easy, but we had no choice because we want to survive and strive to rebuild our shattered lives. As the world prepares to celebrate New Year's, the brutal Israeli bombing of the Gaza Strip continues, destroying the remaining hopes, dreams and wishes for the New Year.

While the most delicious foods with the best taste and quality are prepared in most homes in the world, we suffer from severe hunger and a severe food crisis.

On days like these, we used to buy new warm winter clothes in preparation for celebrating Christmas. Today we are in worn-out clothes that do not protect against the extreme cold.Today we are in a tent that is a refrigerator at night.

Mounir Alanqar @amany-sham10 is 19, but he isn't able to do any of these things. Instead, he is recovering from surgery, while suffering from hunger and frigid winter weather. He and his family have been stuck in Ghazzah for over a year, struggling with hunger, exposure, pain, trauma, and fear. Now, they are suffering from the cold of winter in a tent, and struggle to get the food and water they need to survive.

So far, Mounir and his family have only managed to raise €3,479 (just 10% of their goal) despite having been raising funds since August! Donations have slowed down recently, and sometimes Mounir and his family will go for days without a single donation! They can't afford for this to continue. They urgently need support to purchase the food, clothing, and blankets needed to survive this winter.

Fahed (@/fahed-2) & Reem (@/reem-reem-0), fled south together with their children & their children's grandmother. Fahed's sister's family of 5 fled south as well, and the 13 of them remained together. But after 14 months of surviving hell as a unit (and nearly reaching their campaign goal) the family is now facing one of the worse decisions imaginable: who will be able to evacuate Gaza and who will be forced to stay behind.

There may be an opportunity for evacuation soon, but they're bracing for separation, with Fahed staying behind with his sister and her family. It's hard enough reunifying in Gaza, but with the border with Egypt between them, there's no telling when (or if) they'll ever see each other again. It shouldn't be a choice this family has to make: who survives, who may not. Their kids shouldn't be forcibly separated from their dad, nor Reem from her husband.

Fahed & Reem are some of the kindest, gentlest people ever, and their kids are dazzling, just absolute sweethearts. They've all lost so much and experienced too much, and somehow, kept finding a way to endure.

But right now, they might lose each other, so please: pitch in what you can, help the Shehabs stay together 🙏

I am addressing you because of my urgent need for help to provide a humane life for me and my family after the destruction of our home and the lives of my family. Everything disappeared. We are out in the open. There is no home for us. I humbly ask you to help me I lost my close friends. I lost people in my family. Our house has been destroyed and there is no safe place to live.

‏Unfortunately, our home was bombed and destroyed during the initial events, causing severe psychological and physical damage to me and my family due to the catastrophic situation we are currently living in. My family and I are suffering from severe shortages of food, supplies and medical equipment, in addition to high prices that make it difficult to meet our basic needs. We cannot even access clean drinking water. The loss of our homeland has exacerbated our suffering, and our daily life has become a constant struggle for survival. The urgent need to leave Gaza

Given the current deteriorating situation, it is imperative for me and my family to leave Gaza as soon as possible once the Rafah border crossing with Egypt opens. I hope it will open soon, and we need to raise the necessary funds quickly to ensure our safe passage. The cost of exiting Gaza through the Rafah crossing is approximately $5,000 per person.
