Like any kid I have mommy and daddy issues. Who doesnāt? With or without parents they will always have an effect on how you will end up, when you grow up. I grew up with parents, great parents. Parents that went to soccer tryouts, every softball game, concert, play, went all out for the best holiday ever (Christmas). They never get out of bed before me because they know my favorite part is jumping on the bed. Sent me to the school that held all my dreams/goals for my future. I have parents I would never be allowed to take for granted, but I will because Iām their kid and I have to learn what it means to have everything and appreciate having it. I could also never be selfish, but I will because if I donāt my dad will eat all the snacks and leave me with none. My mother is the most unselfish of them both she gives me everything that is hers every last bite, item, hug etc. I would have nothing to complain about if both of my parents didnāt complain about absolutely everything. Also, no parent is perfect, no parent came with a āĀ how toā guide. My parents could make me happy, be at every event, be at every flat tire, send me to all the right place/paths. But they could never listen, understand, explain, learn, or change when it came to a disagreement, anger, or upsetting moments. They never learned that if they couldnāt listen or try to understand that a cause and effect would take its place. They didnāt learn to change an approach to a problem. I want to be in the Equine business when I grow up. I have to clean stalls everyday and you can never clean every stall the same way as the one before it. Like every problem your kid has, you canāt solve it the same way you solved the last problem. I know my parents didnāt go threw everything I went threw and that all they wanted was for me to grow up strong but sometimes the thing that makes you strong can also make you weak (cause and effect). tough love is the wrong love guess we canāt all be the Kentās.
