leaves a bottle of very old wine on jason's doorstep. let's just hope he gets to it before etrigan does.
The old magician stoops down, picking up the aged bottle beside the week-old newspaper and inspecting the label with curiosity. The delighted smile that brightens his expression is unmistakable and utterly rare. For a long moment, Jason looks out into the pitch-black Gotham night time, as if in a silent gratitude for Andrew, before returning inside.
And before retiring that night, he made it his business to write a calligraphied thank-you note, wax seal and all – while having a glass of said very old wine – if only to match with the theme of OLD-FASHIONEDNESS they were running with.
…the descent to the Underworld is easy. / night and day the gates of shadowy Death stand open wide, / but to retrace your steps, to climb back to the upper air— / there the struggle, there the labor lies….
Virgil, The Aeneid, 6.149-52, translated by robert fagles

so.... i’ve decided to revamp this blog
Decay is her scent, falling from her hands beneath the winter she’s woven. Her youth carved into her face, and her age buried in her heart. Beneath the snow, she is showing that everything must die to be reborn.

( don’t mind my extremely shitty graphic guys — i tried. ) well i’m back guys and what better way to return that with a bias list !? honestly i never expected to stick with ivy, i tend to be rather fickle with muses and pick them up for a week or so before dropping them. but i LOVE ivy and i love all of you guys and haven’t gotten around to rping with nearly enough of you, though that’s my fault for going away just after making this blog. anyway i never expected to get 100+ FOLLOWERS on here, nor stay long enough to have the chance and it means a lot to me that you all decided to stick around even with me going away and being rather unsure of how to play ivy in the beginning. and so below is a bias list of all the people i love to rp with or just see on my dash in general. if you’re not on here then i’m very sorry but i love ALL of you guys.

“First, I’ll state the obvious. You smell like blood, but that’s not bad. On the contrary… you know me. You also smell like… flowers? I can’t say exactly which ones, because… many flowers. White lilies, I guess? Wood, soil, rain, smell of leaves too.”

i mope for no one.
Do you remember? Do you remember being solid? Do you remember life before the hole? Before you were empty and needed to be filled? There was a time when everything was enough. There was a time you didn’t try to get out of your own skin. Remember?
