Midnighter in Midnighter and Apollo #005

Silent, Apollo curls warm fingers around Midnighter's wrist, lifting his hand and prying the leather glove from it in a long-practiced, familiar motion. The Sun King glances up, a smirk hinting at the corner of his mouth, and places a brief kiss in the valley of Mid's palm. Satisfied, he slips the glove back onto the other man's hand.

“What is it, Apollo? You’re worried about something?” Not that it was a strange scenario for both of them, but showing signs of affection like this could really have something behind their meaning. Maybe he was being paranoid, but he couldn’t help it. Midnighter was always planning ahead, ready for the next move. It could be shown as an insensitive man because of that, but he was trying. Really.

“Don’t tell me you’re feeling sad because of existential crisis. I mean... ugh... do tell me.”

MIDPOLLO WEEK IV

We’re happy to announce we’re back this year for our 4th edition!

Our first fan event happened in 2016, in hopes to promote the release of the Midnighter and Apollo mini series. The second and third editions happened in 2017 and 2018, with the goal to celebrate the World’s Finest Couple, as well as encourage fan creators to produce more content.

Midpollo Week 2020 is October 18th to 24th.

You are invited to create fanart, fanfictions, edits, fanmixes, etc.!

What can you do / rules

Create any type of content: fanart, fanfictions, edits, fanmixes, etc.

Don’t steal other people’s edits/art!

This is meant to be a safe event, so we kindly ask you to only participate if you DO NOT ship abuse/inc*st/ped*philia.

Tag #midpolloweek within the first 5 tags. If your post doesn’t show up in the tags or if we accidentally miss it, please message us! Everything will be reblogged here, as long as it follows the rules.

If you use Instagram, feel free to tag @lgbtincomics_ in your stories or feed! We’d love to share your content there as well.

“Heh, I want to see that day coming soon.” A laugh followed by a click in his mouth. “Can’t say you’re wrong, though. Routine can be a pain in the ass, doing common things all the time. I feel like I’ve been disconnected from humanity each day, so yep. Danger is fun, basically.”
