Mac crawls up to Epiales in complete silence, before sitting on the ceiling behind him. Her voice is echoed with those of the old gods' dead, their eldritch chorus apart but one with his voice.
‖ː‖hi >:}‖ː‖
Their eyes, instead of the usual purple, glow a bright and vibrant black, while void-like liquid seeps from his flesh in viscous droplets that sizzle across her skin, leaving valleys in their wake before lightly pockmarking the floor beneath him.

Epiales jumps out of his chair in surprise, something he is extremely unused to doing. So unused to it, in fact, that he jumps so high that his head hits the ceiling, causing a chunk of it to fall to the floor... followed by Mac falling a second later.
"Ye gods, what are you?" Epiales groans as he turns to face them.
With catlike grace, though more on the orange side of that spectrum, and movements that seem impossible, she lands perfectly on their feet. Even standing with such a slouch as he does, Mac still towers over the average human, though only comes up to Epiales's chest regardless.
‖ː‖`i'm mac!! The Whispers are just audible outside my head right now!` >:}‖ː‖
The terrible chorus continues speaking with him referencing the whole in plural as if laying claim. The radiant black coming from their goggles illuminates their gaze with a terribly bright darkness, showing the world as it is in the eyes of the horrific minds that used to be called gods.
Epiales squints, tilting his head as if to listen in. He does not like what he hears.
"I... You're deeply unsettling, darling, you know that?" Epiales crosses his lower two arms, leaned a bit away from Mac. "And when I'm the one saying that, you must know that you have a problem."
‖ː‖`aww, thanks`!!‖ː‖
She giggles, and myriad eldritch deaths scream out in disharmonious unison alongside him.
‖ː‖`i'm not usually this bad lmao, i'm just mid-Episode™ right-now` :]‖ː‖
Sorry to hear that, darling," Epiales does his best to sound sympathetic, "Do you need a doctor? Or a priest?"
It's a long moment before Epiales finally realizes something he probably should have in the first place. "Erm, how did you... How did you get into my office? If you don't mind me asking. It's... rather hard to get in here without permission, I only know of a single lizard that's managed it before and survived."
‖ː‖`this shit's been way beyond help for a while lmao, The Whispers™ are just a part o' me at this point`‖ː‖
They give Epiales a wide smile, putting her extremely sharp teeth on full display, though his expression looks more friendly than anything. Or at least as friendly as its as possible to look given everything else going on with her.
‖ː‖`o, 'n' The Whispers™ told me how to get here when i was wandering 'round. figured i might as well give it a good old explore lmao`‖ː‖
"I see. So these 'whispers' told you how to get into a very tightly secured, magically warded office on the moon?"
Epiales eyes him curiously. The gears in his head begin to turn as he wonders exactly the limits of these whispers' knowledge. Perhaps they could be of some utility.
"What else do these whispers tell you?"
‖ː‖`a lot o' shit lmao, but it's all from their perspective so i've gotta get creative with interpretation most o' the time. i'd say i'm pretty good at it though. perks o' having the old gods' dead whisper to me, i guess`‖ː‖
The eldritch words of the ancient deities still cry out alongside his voice, but they sound more focused now, almost as if they're analysing Epiales while he looks Mac over.
Epiales steels his will and gives his best smirk, turned to look at something near Mac, but not quite at her.
"I can hear you, darlings. Care to join the conversation? Or are you just going to keep whispering in the corner like little teases?"
Oh, Epiales. You better hope they ignore you.
‖ː‖`i, uh, wouldn't recommend that. not unless you wanna end-up like me, anyway`‖ː‖
She laughs nervously, and the final screams of the first divinities jeer alongside them. Mac clearly knows the full extent of what exposure to whatever those voices are can do to someone, and the thought of watching that happen to someone like Epiales is enough to leave them deeply cautious and concerned.
Epiales squints, hearing those jeers as if they were in his ear. Seeing a creature like Mac display clear concern is enough to make him balk, something few other things can achieve.
"Er, perhaps you're right. Can't have my pretty little head all mixed up, especially not right before Regifugium." He chuckles nervously, "So, erh, care to ask them a question for me? I'd just like to know what they are... in a broad sense."
‖ː‖`i can answer that myself, i think. the old gods' dead whisper to me through their blood on my hands, and that's about it. i could pro'ly try 'n' get some more info out o' 'em if you want though`‖ː‖
That one phrase resonates and reverberates with massive energy, though it's clearly entirely unintended. Just hearing it is enough for faint whispers of terrible visions to briefly creep into Epiales's mind before fading back away. Still, it's more than enough for him to fully comprehend the pure and horrible power of what has its claim on Mac, and it's not hard to make the connection to what human society romanticised into figures like Cthulhu and Azathoth.
Mac's reaction, waiting with patiently baited breath for the echoes to dissipate from Epiales's thoughts, makes it seem like this is normally what happens when those words come out of his mouth in this state, and that there's not really any other options to communicate the situation effectively.
"Ah...huh." Epiales nods, his head spinning a little from all of that. He's seen some shit, done some shit, but this is a bit outside even his limits.
"Erm... would you... mind leaving? I hate to be rude, darling," Epiale gently requests, doing his best to keep his composure, and doing an admirable job all told, "but I'm more than a bit upset by this experience and I get the feeling this isn't the first time you've gotten this response from somebody."
